Jackson should be playing behind Aldama and Prosper for a couple of games. Maybe that would cause him to get going. Aldama as a starter has been better than Jackson.

I don’t blame Jaren for this one. It is in the Jaren. He needs to make the system work. Where is the where Jaren gets a mismatch duck down in the paint score. There are some discussions that need to occur. Second look who we hv on the floor. Wells and Cam are the only Grizz players who can shoot. Jaren is getting doubled. the coach has to make adjustments and do his job.
Sadly, JJJ is playing like these Pro athletes after they got paid: Albert Haynesworth, Josh Hamilton, Josh Howard, Antoine Walker, Chris Johnson, etc. and yes, injuries played a significant role for some listed and not listed. That’s certainly not the issue(s) for JJJ! I might lean toward issues w/ Iisalo’s coaching style if we didn’t have years of watching JJJ not improve in the areas he has to know are weaknesses! Now we’re watching a Pro athlete simply play as if he’s a lost rookie on the floor.
JJJ has joined the ever increasing list of PRO athletes who play their A$$E$ off in that CRUCIAL contract year (oftentimes it’s the final yr) before they can truly cash in and grab 💰💰💰💰of money! Grizz nation and the entire NBA saw a JJJ that was better in every category: rebounding, paint points, fewer fouls, availability, etc. This production took a dive after being snubbed in becoming an all NBA selection. Still got paid (5yr $240M vs 5yr $345M)!
This yrs version of JJJ is back to OLD JJJ; the one who pouts, fouls foolishly, doesn’t want to rebound and slowly trots up the court looking to launch that trail 3 he’s famous for!

I really thought grizz were going to destroy spurs based on the rebound advantage. But ofc, the moment they are without Edey and JJJ in that 4th, no rim protection. They started abusing our defense so bad. Running to the rim and the middy by fox and voilà the grizz are lost. Still, I believe in Lisalo, just hope all this minutes restriction pays off at the end of the season😅
Jaren needs to start to learn to play with edey and pass the ball quickly and accurately when he's doubled. Also i would suggest to fix his three point shot because his form looks not really good, honestly. Aldama needs to improve as well, and Ja also needs to improve because he lacked attitude when he played. This team can do big things, this lost game was a pity, honestly

Bandwagoner here…used to love watching the Grizz but these late quarter breakdowns are really bad. JJJ has apparently checked out but I do agree that he gets unwarranted calls from the refs. Wells had 20 points but did not hardly touch the ball in the 4th while those other players were shooting bricks. It was sad because that was a winnable game. Let’s see what happens vs the hapless Clippers Friday.
