How The LA Clippers Continue To Embarrass Themselves

How The LA Clippers Continue To Embarrass Themselves

LA Clippers spiral continues as Kawhi Leonard and James Harden put up big numbers, but can they rescue a season on life support? With a 5-15 start and a daunting road trip ahead, the Clippers sit 13th in the Western Conference, raising doubts about their playoff hopes and whether the NBA Play-In is their only realistic path.

Die hard Los Angeles Clippers fan and Host Darian Vaziri spotlights the team’s critical issues, from Kawhi’s minutes restriction and James Harden’s turnover woes to defensive breakdowns and the disappointing impact of offseason additions like Chris Paul and Brook Lopez. Analysis zeroes in on lineup adjustments, open three-point shooting struggles, and what needs to change against the Miami Heat’s league-leading pace. Will the Clippers’ role players and coaching tweaks be enough to halt the losing streak and salvage the season, or is it already time to blow up the roster?

  1. Heat run started while CP3 was in the lineup during 2nd quarter. Really a shadow of his former self. He can't shoot or defend against the younger, taller and faster players. Collins is not a good defender on the perimeter against quicker players. Harden doesn't even try to defend if you on a fast break…watch him. The tradeoff is his offense for defense, but if we give up easy points at a higher rate than offense then that doesn't work. It's been a slow death and some tough decisions will have to be made with ALL the older players. Injuries is not an excuse. This was already happening before the injuries and we're being run off the court by youth. It seems we don't have any way to stop the bleeding when teams go on a run and Harden running down the clock for a contested 3 is clearly not the answer. Zu and Kawhi need to initiate the offense.

  2. all imma say is its CRAZY how thirsty some of you mfers are for harden to have a bad game so you can jump on him with the usual bullshit

This team had been a disaster from the jump EXCEPT for Harden. But the one time yall decide to pounce on a player with 30 minutes worth of shitting on them, it just happens to be when its harden that has a bad game?

hoe shit. "TY LUE DIDNT PUT JAMES BACK IN CUZ HE AGREES WITH MY FAN FIC" no mfer he didnt put james back in because the game was over and he's 36 years old among the league leaders in minutes per game and hes been carrying this dumpster fire

  3. At this point, just go fully young like San Antonio. You have to fire Ty Lue and Frank because of the gambling situation, but don’t expect to get a legit coach in return. No experienced coach is going to come here, so hire a rookie coach and let him grow while teaching the young players. If it works out, it’s a win — but you already know that in two years you’re going to let him go anyway once the bus starts to turn around. The best thing is that you find a young stud thru all this.

When it comes to trades. Everyone is availabe except Kawhi, you make him sit thru the entire rebuild.

  4. Said before and i’ll say it
again , ty lue has definitely lost the team and has to go . never holding any team accountable and never adjusting ? also being stubborn

  5. It’s time to blow it up. Trade harden and kawhi while they still have value as they are both still playing phenomenal. Clippers could get a decent amount of picks in return

  6. Why exactly is Kawhi holding minutes for? Trade value? More games? Or just less injuries? I don’t get what’s the point of playing if you never really going to play full minutes.

  7. Fire Frank fire Lou trade everyone, if we are going to lose this pick might as well say screw it and completely start over. Clear money off the books get some young talent and picks. I’d be excited to watch that not this

  8. 2 years overdue in blowing this team up. I understand they dont own their pick this year, but why wouldn’t you get decent assets for what they have. Either way they will be a lottery team this yr so might as well get something while they can. Doesn’t make sense to patch up this sinking ship. Yes, you will get Pennie’s on the dollar for Kawhi/Harden but WHO CARES. Get something before you get nothing, clips r going to be awful either way. But no, Ballmer wants some big names in order to sell tickets. Won’t catch me at intuit dome until this era is over ✌️

  9. As a heat fan, the blowout was so bad it has me watching these clippers pages on YT. Thanks for Powell but as a kawhi fan, pray for the clippers. Hope y’all can turn it around 🙏

  10. Zubac is not the problem. The problem is that he is your 3rd best player. And even worse, past prime harden who cant play D is your second option. Along with players who are not a threat, that is a huge problem. You need at least 4 elite players who click together perfectly and then more depth. Look at Miami for example. They have Davion, Powell, herro, Wiggins, bam all who are elite and all complement each other. That’s 5 players. Then you also have threats who step up when needed like mini wemby (ware), and Jaime jaq who is leading the race for 6th man of the year. Depth and speed are important in today’s nba and clippers have none of what i mentioned. Pray for the clippers.

  11. Finally, yanic gets some playing time and shows that athleticism. Harden comes in and the offense completely stops and goes to him. All the ball movement and passing dies right away.

  12. Dime, On Point🔥🫡💪🏽🤓!!

Glad you are finding some detachment from winning and saving yourself from unneeded grief and disappointment this season!

Keep up the great analysis and balanced passion for the Clips👌🏽

  13. Saying it many times Harden is not a game player. Hes a chaos dragging down the team, very slow pace and holding the ball like 20sec.

  14. I’m a Laker but I would say the same if Lakers were( 5-16) . I like clippers losing but how long will at last?.

  15. 12th season as Clippers from Brazil, watcjung games here untill 3am to witness this tragedy. Wow, it hurts to see

  16. Really need to fire Ty lue. He was playing around with silly guard stacked lineups. Got us into a hole the team is struggling to get out of. Team has no confidence. Harden is pounding the ball too much. Cp3 is done and we could use a spark off the bench. Every good clipper team has had a 1 or 2 guard with swagger going all the way back to Sam cassell. Yes, we’re bad. We shouldn’t be this bad though… ty needs to be fired asap. LFrank should also go. Balmer has money. That’s where he should use it. Get new faces, new personel. Can’t salvage the season. Get some draft capital back

  17. I said it 4 years ago: FULL REBUILD.

BUT…with the new (awesome) arena opening no way they were going to do that.

Now? The novelty of Intuit has passed. Trade Harden and Kawhi for picks and/or young prospects. Zubac could get some good returns, but I would prefer they keep him.

Clips would have to go 45-17 from this point to win 50, and that probably isn't good enough to make the playin in the West this season. OKC is gonna get a freaking lottery pick, as if they need it.

If the roster is the same at the end of the season–or even trade deadline–that's gonna be very disappointing. I'm OK with a few years of losing IF there is a plan and evidence that progress is being made. Currently this team is spinning its wheels.

I appreciate the fact that you're not gaslighting us and pretending it's going to be OK. Gonna be a rough ride for a bit, but Ballmer won't quit until he hangs a banner or two at least. Attracting talent won't be a problem.

You might want to use a non-gambling sponsor given what's going on not only with the Clips but the league. It's becoming a real problem.

  18. "It's not fun watching this team right now". You're right, D, it's not. I mentioned it in the last video I believe…..Yeah, we lost a lot in the Sports Arena days, but we still had fun. And I agree with you that we should blow it up. See what we can get for Kawhi & Harden. Just popped in my head…. if you don't know already…. Look up '89-90 LMU Basketball…. Holy Sh*t!!! Let's Blow it up, and play that style of ball for the rest of the season, at least it'll be fun, LOL. GoClips!!!

  19. With all the problems the Clippers are having, it might seem odd to focus on Nick Batum, but he does seem to be one of the more puzzling aspects of the Clippers disappointing start to the season. What's especially puzzling about Batum's performance is that he's consistently getting 20+ minutes off the bench but is getting very few field goal attempts. Against Miami he played 20 minutes and had two shots, both threes, which he made. Against Dallas he played 28 minutes and was scoreless. Batum's main chance of contributing for the Clippers is through scoring. He's not a great defender or rebounder, but he's always been a reliable shooter. And yet they just don't seem to be getting him the ball, or for some reason he's just not looking for his shot. If Batum is going to play 20+ minutes a game, he should be getting close to 10 shots and scoring upwards of 15 points. But as it is now, the Clips are just getting nothing out of him. Perhaps he is simply playing with the same kind of complacency that seems to be pervading the entire team right now, with the exception of Kawhi.🤔
