  1. I want to see Reed in the starting lineup but Amen should not be the ball handler. If you want to give Amen balll handling reps, take him off early and play him with the second unit a bit. But when he's on the court with KD/Alpi and even Reed, he's gotta be in the dunkers spot

  2. Rockets were out rebounded which was atypical and turned the ball over too much which was par for course. It was really that simple, Rockets offense predicated on dominating the boards. Stevo is our X factor.

  3. I want to see how Reed fits when Tari and DFS are back. Lots of combinations available at full strength

  4. A few thoughts here.

    1) I don't think this a scheduled loss. Everyone aside from Tari was available. This is more of a character loss. I don't think they played with respect to the Jazz and with the correct approach to the competitive nature of basketball. I think they approached this game like some hoes. I didn't have an issue with the offense. It's ugly but unmatched firepower. It is what it is until Fred is back. But defensively, can't let Utah have a 4th like that. You can have a weak first half.. that happens. But if the game is close entering the 4th. Nah player. That's when you put them to bed. Have to lock in and dig deep for that extra juice to finish the job.

    2) I think Amen Thompson is a low basketball IQ player and so far has been saved by is inhuman athleticism. I think this might hurt him in the long run and hurt us too. I find myself asking often, would I rather have Tari or Amen? Tari suffers from tunnel vision too but…yeah.

    3) Reed probably is best coming off the bench for the rest of the season barring injuries. Like you mentioned, he'll likely be hunted in the playoffs. Let him be a 20-25 minute player and see how he levels up. Don't think he's ready at all for what the Rockets are trying to accomplish at the moment. But I don't think it's a big deal if you choose Reed over Aaron or Josh.

  5. I feel like Reed is so much better as a starter getting 35 minutes than whatever aaron holliday can provide (basically really good from three and not much else), but Ime gonna Ime and play his vets for way longer than appropriate

  6. Yes Frank, your description of "our team will get bored with doing the working plays over and over again" is exactly my feel about our offense. Which I would call it ADHD offense 😂

  7. Ryan Rollins, Jordan Goodwin, Colin Gillespie, Ajay Mitchelll, Danis Jenkins get consistent burn on solid teams, but Rockets can't play G League MVP JD Davison consistently, even tho he's the only real available pg on roster…..Head scratching for me.

  8. What a disaster! Such a weak team could beat the Rockets! That is not expected at all. The Rockets defense was disastrous. Most of the players except Alperen were inefficient as well.

  9. This was also a loss of Udoka, why on earth would you sub Jae'Sean Tate out when he brings a much needed energy?

  10. I think They should use Reed more like the way they used him against the warriors. In that game, warriors were throwing doubles at him and his confidence level also showed up in his defense

  11. Isn't it time to abandon the lie that "it's hard to win back-to-back against the same team"? In the NBA, if you beat a team by 30 the day before, you're almost guaranteed to win the next day, because the opposing team can't change anything (except pressure players like Reed, whom they don't need to defend).

The Rockets lost to a terrible team they beat the day before, and the only difference was Adams wasn't on the roster!

The one thing people need to understand is this: The effectiveness of the players (with the exception of Sengun, KD, and Amen) depends on Adams being on the court. If he's not on the court, every opposing team is easily crushing the other players, both offensively and defensively!

  12. Man shut the fuck up. Amen Thompson is the best player on our team. Quit running your mouth like we care about your opinion you’re just a guy on the Internet that’s broke talking about millionaire basketball players, bro shut up until you can get on the court and do one thing amen Thompson does, and that will be never in your lifetime. All this hating we’re tired of it and we’re gonna cancel every single one of you.
