If you want to end up like the 76ers with Joel and PG, then you trade for Kawhi and AD, which means they will have to deal them being injured and unavailable most of time. This means the team will never develop in chemistry just like the 76ers. I honestly believe that Steve Balmer, Clippers Owner, would love to get rid of Kawhi and James Harden right now because they are bad investments. I think this Miami Heat team will only get better and will be formidable against anyone they face in the west except for the Denver Nuggets if they have Aaron Gordon on the court the the Joker. The Nuggets always have their number and Spo has no answer for them. But I honestly believe the game is all about matchups and I believe they could match up well against OKC. No. Kawhi has missed 10 games already this season, he can't help us from the bench. Not to mention sticking a guy with chronic knee issues into our fast paced offense is probably a mistake. As for AD the Mavs traded a generational talent to get him, they aren't letting him go for Tyler and stuff. I get the trade Tyler talk but players of his arc type don't go for as much as the fan base thinks they do.

I'd rather have a solid B tier role player than an injury prone star. I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm willing to take my medicine. With this pace, we should have got Westbrook. His style fits perfectly with the way Spo is running this offense. But we got enough guards. I do think we go in for another defensive big who can give us 15 and a couple boards.
