Bulls Trying to Turn the Tide Amid Losing Streak | By The Horns Podcast

Cam Smith and K.C. Johnson break down the Bulls’ latest setback in Orlando, extending the losing streak to four. They highlight Ayo Dosunmu’s shooting surge, Josh Giddey’s offseason work paying off with a more confident jumper, and the defensive lapses that keep resurfacing—especially around rim protection. They also look back at Tre Jones’ matchup against his brother and look ahead to what Chicago must tighten up during the upcoming three-game homestand.

  1. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if the Bulls lose tonight's game against the Nets. Coby and Issac are not listed on ESPN'S injury report, but Julian Phillips is listed as GTD for tonight's game and Noa is still hurt also. I know about the winter months, my birthday is exactly a month from now.

  2. When the nba refs stop having +3-4 home minus visitor point differential, I’ll start being a fan again. Otherwise you can’t convince me nba isn’t rigged.

  3. Fire Donovan, 6 seasons – enough is enough, he aint the biggest problem, BUT he isnt the right coach for this team, at all.. we changed a lot of roster, just coach still the same

  4. Are they really looking for answers? There are obvious things that they have not been doing for years! There is no coaching. Like the rest of the NBA, the Bulls are followers, no half court sets, no true attempts at offensive rebounding, is defense even taught? Pick and pop/pick and roll, are concepts, not offenses. So called point guards dribbling the length of the floor, not even looking at team mates, then jacking up 3's or going down the lane! The average amount of three-point shots (3PA) attempted by an NBA team per game is approximately 37.2 in the ongoing 2025-26 season. The average for 3's made for the 2025-2026 NBA season is not yet finalized, but it will likely be around 36-38%. At that average, it seems to me that the offensive rebounding should be high. In the last Bull's loss, there were 10 the entire game. I've seen games where the starting line up did not have any offensive rebounds. I always see videos of players working on their shots, but rarely see the same for defensive work like, taking a charge, the proper way to block shots, closing out, how to even stay closer to the person you are guarding! No, it's not glamorous, but I'm willing to bet it's not being done or it's being done very little! Analytics and the three-point shot have questionably hurt the NBA more than helped. Chicago Bulls fan since the very beginning, 1966-67!

  5. The Bulls need to bring in someone who can develop Buzelis, Giddey and Essengue I like Chris Quinn as a potential replacement.
