  1. Analyaizing clips is an amazing feature of sports podcasting.

However, the two of you make for horrible teachers. Explain terminology. Use a telestrator pen, to show who youre referring to and the path of players and ball you want us to follow.

Such a wasted opportunity to increase audience and make the experience of watching, helpful.

  2. Enjoy every time caitlyn comes on the show. Her 🏀 knowledge of the game & the way she can see things & break it down 👌🏻 best in the biz. Love hearing her thoughts from her perspective on our (9GameWinStreak)🔥 Raptors 🫡

  3. Pfft. I'm bragging a little 😅. I was commenting and telling people around me the Raptors have serious potential. The starting lineup up was riddled with injuries and barely got to play together and people were writing them off calling them a bad team when we barely seen them play together.

How could you not see it especially after we got BI. 3 players who could average near and above 20. A center that could average 12 to 15 and play good defense. A solid PG that could shoot 3s who is decent defensively. A bench lead by Dick and Boucher(sad he's gone) with Ja'Kobe, Shead, Battle and Mogbo showing promise giving bench mob potential vibes.

  4. please tell me you have already poached Caitlin for a podcast series if the Raptors make the playoffs, like you guys did for the Pacers run last year. Golden opportunity since indy is taking a gap year

  5. I know Fred has a major injury but a question I've been thinking about does a lineup of Vanvleet, OG, Barnes, BI and Jakob sound like a great all-around starting 5. Good offense, spacing and elite defense.

  6. Loved Caitlin's response to the questions about the sustainability of the Raptors defense and their pace on offense. It's remarkable how much information she was able to quickly distill in those responses.

  7. If you have a guy that can shoot 50% from the midrange on your team consistently, no matter who is guarding him, you use it. It's really hard to beat teams that have a guy like that on their team, its even better when they can play good defense. MJ got 6 rings for reason.

  8. would love to see caitlin join you guys when we go to vegas and the playoffs if the pacers don't make it 🙂

  9. I feel like this video title can be re-used infinite times this season, and some version of it is already 90% of raptors content for the last… 2-3 weeks?

  10. See, the issue with this fanbase is having expectations set so low. It's disrespectful to what the raptors are trying to do here. Why were the expectations low to begin with? Why do you doubt the teams ability to develop a winning team? Were the expectations really to be a middling/play-in team during this entire Scottie Barnes era? "Tank" for picks 9-15 until Scottie Barnes is 30 and looking for a real winning team? No. The expectations should have been pretty clear as recently as last year. Until injuries derailed last season, they were vying for the play-in/playoffs trying to win. A fully healthy raptors team with the addition of Brandon Ingram and much needed bench depth with Sandro should have been expected to go make the playoffs. The team told us the goal was to make the playoffs in the off-season. The money and talent on paper suggest this is a team making the playoffs. I despise this low expectation, "loser" mentality. It's almost as though this fanbase is waiting on some "big trade" that we made already. Every player surrounding Scottie Barnes in the starting lineup are trade acquisitions. Acquisitions fully intended to support SB. They weren't acting as placeholders for something better. This team has the stuff to win, as they should. We are more than deep enough in SB's career to be thinking about his.. well.. CAREER. A couple more years of middling or losing means you wasted more than half a decade of Barnes' career. Total malpractice for any team to waste a talent like that. It's win now or trade these guys that are entering their prime to teams that wanna win.

  11. Preseason I thought 45 wins was attainable, given that it would be a 15 game improvement and a good accomplishment for a team just finished tanking. With this start just playing .500 ball the rest of the way will get them there. That's how impressive the first month has already been.

  12. Another outstanding podcast- to my mind Samson, your entire team- including Caitlin do such excellent work analyzing and presenting really engaging podcasts on basketball that rival, if not surpass anything out there- including all the ‘big’ ones. I appreciate you addressing my question… and the time energy that went in to breaking down. I agree that coaching has played a pivotable role. Darko has shown remarkable clarity and creativity which didn’t seem as evident last season. (Clearly different expectations) I believe Darko has been the x variable. I encourage you to invite Caitlin on as much as possible (with Tre) because you guys are truly worth listening to… keep up the great work.

  13. Is it time to be concerned that Mogbo and Battle might be in our plans at all? Both seemed pretty solid last year, is it something in their game? Or just a minutes crunch kinda thing like every guy can't play

  14. Better than thought? At 20 games in, quarter of the season, on Saturday night, Raptors can be #1 in the WHOLE CONFERENCE! O M G. Just need the struggling Pistons to lose to surging Heat.
