Man, Mike… you're so off it's scary. Deni was grabbed by Shead on that possession first, before the 'offensive' foul which wasn't there. Deni doesn't extend his arm, it's a legal basketball move, the player PULLED his arm to fake an extension. It HAD to have been overturned for that alone, if not for the 2 arms grab before that.
The possession after that, he was HACKED by that same player (Is the NBA trying to promote him or something?), Shead. An EGREGIOUS no call. HOW did you miss that? (I'm commenting as I'm watching so you might get to it later)
Gotta make youre free throws. It's the difference between winning and losing as we witnessed against the Raptors.
there were two unfortunate calls against Deni in the last few moments of the game. The one offensive foul which was a 50/50 call in my opinion. The second was the missed foul called when Deni was driving the lane. He was clearly hacked.
Are the Blazers interested in facilitating the Chris Paul retirement tour for a couple months? I’m not sure if Jrue, Dame and Tiago have good or bad relationships with CP.

The problem is the coach. Arrived at the last minute. He doesn't have enough experience. He messes up the defense. They lose too many games in the last minutes because they don't have a coach. Hope that next year they will bring in a coach with NBA experience. Michael Malone.
hey mike, as for our previous disagreement from a few videos ago, credit to Toumani for shooting well from 3 in these past games. there really wasnt a proper statistical fact that can indicate why they lost the game, the teams were pretty even. they just dig themselves in a hole in the middle of the game and then try and crawl out. they have heart and character, but they lack a good structure and killer instinct.

I completely agree the game wasn't necessarily lost there as opposed to the 5+ minutes of no scoring during that stretch where Toronto built a big lead, but the small switchable lineup really hurt down the stretch with no rim protection or even presence at the rim to affect shots.
I can completely understand not bringing Clingan back in who sounded still sick after the game and was questionable going in, especially on a back to back knowing Rob won't play vs Cleveland, but putting Rob in would have been an adjustment that not only helps defensively, but it allows Deni, Sharpe and Grant to use him in a PnR on the offensive end where they were struggling freeing up those guys down the stretch and they were forcing very difficult one on one drives.
Hopefully Tiago sees that adjustment in the future.

We won't know anything about what this team is capable of until every player on the roster is completely healthy. And not until then.
Blazers perimeter defense is non existent right now. Nothing is going to get better until every player is healthy.
