saying it was time for him to go is a terrible take actually crazy.. it wasnt time for Chris Paul to go he gave the clippers a lot of good years and they did him dirty. when big CP3 steps in that last game against the Heat and keeps their "star players" from getting absolutely blowed out, completely destroyed by Miami they should listen to what he had to say. The Clippers organization is disrespectful and Harden is salty and not being a great leader for the team, i mean his defense is trash. Leonard has been absent and has no voice. I was watching that game, and I have been watching Chris Paul for years. CP3 is a leader and one of the all time great scoring point guards. Clippers have no pride, I think it's time for them go honestly. They were hella lucky to have ever had Chris Paul play for them.
I never like CP3, but gahdamn, the disrespect. at least waive or trade the guy to his preferred destination.

Wilbon is one of the best authorities on the NBA but citing Charles as of the best leaders of his generation and being on 8 different teams speaks differently about that take. People crying about how he is a legend and what not well if you put a ringless player in a pedestal how high would you put up actual champions like Jordan, Magic, Kareem, Larry, Kobe etc. This is thr problem with basketball, everyone needs to get a participation trophy even without rings. There is literally no threshold to where we put the best of the best. Its just one of those "he is a great" stories and thats that. No wonder no one respects this clown sport
