This is what I will push back on: I think a more impressive record for the Oklahoma City thunder would be winning 33 straight like the 1972 Los Angeles Lakers with Wilt Chamberlain and Jerry West (as well as future coach Pat rally when he played).
That 1972 team would beat both the Chicago Bull team and the Golden State Warriors team. (speaking of that Golden State Warriors team that went 73 and nine, that team is nowhere near as good as the Kevin Durant Warriors. That was the best Golden State team of the modern era.)

The NBA is suppose to be so good now and so much talent, how is there a team with a record of 21-1. Makes you think that narrative is pretty stupid. If there is so much talent now and so many good players there would not be a team right now 21-1

I know it sounds so OLD HEAD of me, but I have to say it… the '96 Bulls were physically battling for those wins. OKC are talented & well-coached, taking full advantage of the modern game. But I feel like "greatest regular season team" – even with a better record than those other teams – feels wrong somehow.
