kawhi said he was a fun guy, not a nice guy. He proved during his free agency that the only thing he cares about is himself. He pitted the raptors and clippers against each other, only agreeing to sign if they throw away their future and invest heavily into him. Raptors just won a championship, and therefore didn't have the incentive…while clippers, desperate for relevance, agreed to anything he wants

Personally, I don't think Kawhi should be a HOFer. We talk about on and off-court intangibles that transcend stats and elevate players from pretty good to great. Well, the opposite also exists. Players with terrific stats whose lack accountability and leadership knock them down a few pegs. That's Kawhi to me. Yes, he led a team to a Championship. But the latter half of his career has been a disaster of his own making–especially if the no-show sponsorship investigation bites the Clippers in the ass. He's completely destroyed a franchise, can't stay healthy, has been toxic even when he's not on the court, and embodies much of what's wrong with the current NBA.

They’re all young, hungry and just good dudes all around and I think the whole team will be a cohesive unified front when LeBron is out of the picture. People get too worried about what LeBron thinks of them as players and I think it affects their game. Because he doesn’t hide his angered or frustrated looks too well at all. They get one more good scoring dude after he retires, the lakers show will be a team to be reckoned with and I like it. Plus it’s two white boys running the team. That’s just wild to me. Gets me hyped for my cracker brethren. Were FINALLY getting really good at basketball… And that’s a team I can fuck with.
