If they offer us Giannis for Nembhard straight up I don't think we should do it. Nembhard according to last game I was told he is the future and soon to be all-star. I kid but we ain't getting Giannis let's be real

I almost had the exact same trade except with 4th team Washington, Khris Middleton going out.
Whoever trades for Giannis will overpay in assets like Clippers did for Paul George, Minnesota did to get Gobert, etc.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but Giannis is about to be 31 and had a history of injuries.
So a team will mortgage their future for borderline aging/injured Giannis.

If Giannis wants to come to Dallas he will be in Dallas. Same for New York.
Milwaukee will get a ton from us (all the picks plus PJ, Lively, Gafford, Christie, Nembhard, Cisse, etc) and then parse out the players for young talent and picks. We might even get Turner in the deal (why not) and move out Klay and Martin.
The Bucks end up with the equivalent of 5-6 #1’s and 3-4 quality young players
(Relatively young and talented lol).
Regardless they will retrieve their picks from Portland and start over with a low
Cap number and a real future.
Dallas will be left with a precarious group of great talents (AD, Kyrie, Giannis, Turner,Flagg, etc) and a win now team.
Milwaukee would definitely take that deal if it came with a veil threat of opting out in June of 2026.

Ridiculous scenarios for Mavs. AD is not going anywhere unless it is multiple first round picks and no one is going to offer that. It would have to be a team that is one big man away from a championship run. The most sensible scenario is to regulate AD’s minutes and no back-to-backs. The Mavs are as good as they are going to get. We finally have a real PG. Let’s see what happens. Last 3 games were fun again.
