    The dirk comparison is BS. Dirk didn’t have to step in because Luka was actually accepting leadership of the team. Nobody on the clippers have excepted that role since Kawhi got there, not kawhi, not George, not harden, not even Russ but his situation was shaky after the lakers ordeal.     Controversial take… both are right to an extent you don’t necessarily have to be a top 5 option on the team to be a leader but you do need to be able to backup what ur talking about. Ex if you a 40 YO big but you avg almost 10 points 6 rebounds and a block a game or even if you aren’t avg any points but you excel in whatever specific role you have on the team then that’s proof that you can backup your talk. But I also agree with the point that you have to know how to reach your teammates while also respecting the fact that you’re not that guy anymore so you can’t come at ppl with a “you holding us back” attitude if you your self are not heavily contributing to wins currently with your own play. And if that’s the case you gotta be like Kenyon and just shut up & accept the fact ghat it’s not your place to call ppl out.
