Greeaaat game from Hamal Murray. Now take the clips, take the highlights, call up every front office in the league, and TRADE HIM before he inevitably injures himself or runs off another series of poor games. Get a REAL point guard, and some draft capital back.
I want every Murray stan to lock this game and last game in their memory…Murray performance is not about his health, like you guys always say…oh he has ten bad games, his knee is hurting…it's nature of his shot selection…dude takes lot of dumb shots…most of the time he misses but once a month, once a year he hits the same stupid shots and the he's the king…And it's not about health, because he didn't even finish last game and next game he goes for 50…
So this was great offensive process and it's repeatable, right? Right, because if Murray doesn't shoot 80%, shoots like 60%, which is well above his average, we still go to OT…
Whoever wants Chris Paul to come onto the Nuggets better stop that crazy noise. Chris Paul, James Harden, Paul George, Russell Westbrook are jinxed to never win a title. Very bad idea. We're good as long as everyone plays defense and we do our best until our 2 starters come back. The league, better be very afraid of the Nuggets when completely healthy.

38:44 idk how TJ gets up so high with his jumper. His wingspan isn’t crazy , he just knows how to shoot as a short king in a tall world. It reminds me of deadball era forwards or a short honky Kawhi. It’s not pretty, but the release point is high and he adjusts his arc to the defense. He would be such an ideal 6th man for us, it hurts me to watch.

I feel for Giannis. One of my all time favorite players… the way he limped off leaves two option: he has 10lbs balls and chews railroad spikes or it wasn’t an achilles. I give both possibilites equal creedence.
6:49 Offense is not a problem. Murray getting hurt last game was not the problem. We still score top in the league, Murray or no Murray… Cause of Jokic, of course. The problem is D. Last 4 games we were doubling on the perimeter penetrator. Spencer Jones, or Cam Johnson, would collapse and leave their 3pt shooter to help on a penetration. So we were doubling right away to discourage the point guard penetration. Cause if he penetrates, and arrives around the basket where Jokic is, the basket is nearly automatic… As Jokic is not Rim protector. So we would double right away, each penetration attempt. Which was leaving 3pt shooters wide open.
This game, we played penetrators straight up and stayed in front of them, whenever possible… Most of the time, say in 80% we managed to stay in front of them. But we played them one on one, and did not have wide open 3pt shooters.
The difference was drastic!
Do not double penetrators, stay on your 3pt shooters, and we will be fine!

great win, but fuck man. AG injured, Braun injured, Strawther injured, and now Spencer left early with a knee issue. We're running out of bodies and for some absurd reason, despite having a hole at the position he plays, we won't give our rookie that our GM bid against himself to get any run time. It doesn't make sense. I get you don't want to put that kinda pressure on someone who hasn't really played, but how can you watch OKC develop guys by throwing them in the fire and not think 'hey, maybe we should get this guy some minutes – see if it works out'
