  1. You nailed it. I think Hugo & Jordan will be core players on future championship teams. Defense is everything. Great scouting!

  2. JUST CALL HIM JODAN MR. FREEZE WALSH!!! BECAUSE HE IS PUTTING PEOPLE ON ICE IN A DEEP FREEZE!!!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ AND WITH HUGO BOSS GONZALEZ THEY ARE THE NEWEST MEMBERS OF THE DEFENSE JUSTICE LEAGUE!!!😊😊😊

  3. He was a stud in college. I was psyched when they drafted him. They saw the potential. And he had the patience to stay and learn.

  4. People forget Celtics are known for developing talent. They'll be right back in the finals next year

  5. I really like this kid. He's got a lot of dawg in him. The other day he said he doesn't give a crap about scoring but takes much more pride in his defense. For someone so lanky, he's got a solid base too. So many people gave up on him last year. The kid was 20 and people were saying, 'He'll never make it.' Glad Stevens didn't feel the same way. Guys coming into the league at 18, 19, are most likely not going to put it all together for 3 or 4 years, but very few organizations function on that timeline, so young players get cut loose or relegated to deep bench. Steven & Co. seem to be among the best at giving their young guys a chance to develop while also winning games.

  6. Loved him since Brad Stevens picked him in the second round as a defensive player whom everybody said that if he works on his 3-point shot will be a legitimate NBA player. He reminds a lot of us older fans of Dennis Rodman when he first came to the league with his defensive intensity, Basketball IQ, and rebounding. The Cs have a gem.

  7. He struggled his first two years in the league. Did not get much PT with the stacked lineup the Celts had. Even in preseason, he was inconsistent and in one game, he fouled out by half time. That game however, he played angry and aggressive which he seems now to be funneling into relentless defense along with significant attack. All of the young players for Boston seem to be playing smothering defensive basketball. Love watching them and the frustration of their opponents.

  8. Rising Jordan Walsh. Maybe he's reviewing video clips of Michael Jordan's system of man to man's defense move. Trying to explore things for himself. 🀷 My own opinion only. Go Walsh, go Boston carry on! β˜˜οΈπŸ‘πŸ’ͺ

  9. What an excellent and multi-talented addition to the Green. That height and long arms are just what the Celtics need to bolster their game.

  10. Ive been saying i want to see him more in the rotation this year had no idea he'd be balling so fast! Hes really developed

  11. Tatums injury is actually helping the Celtics in the long run. Everyone gaining experience and once our best player is back it’s game over for the league.

  12. Saw Tatum well before he was drafted. When the Celtics took him ahead of the #1 pick I knew they'd nailed it. I've spotted several other players who were underrated, including AR, but I didn't see this guy coming.

Amazing how much of a jump he has taken. Injuries and player movement have opened up the opportunity and he has been great so far.

  13. I called this like 2-3 years ago, this kid maybe be a superstar, he just needs playing time and now hes getting it, showing all what he can do.

  14. there's no "stumbling," this is exactly what GM Brad Stevens saw when he drafted him.
he's making the "jump" in his 3rd year, a common enough period for good players who need time to stretch into their talents.

  15. I remember watching him in the NCAA tournament a few years back and liked his game. Glad he's starting to do well.

  16. I saw him yesterday at the garden. He was pickpockettng Reaves all night long. Very frustrating for a lakers fan πŸ˜‚
