This is the WORST Situation in the NBA

The New Orleans Pelicans are the NBA’s biggest disaster with Zion Williamson injured again, a 3-21 record, no first round pick, and declining trade value for some of their guys. The Pelicans have reached a new rock bottom and the future is dim for a team that had such a bright future when they dealt Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers back in 2019.

  1. you know whats crazy, when you trade away your superstar talent you get the #1 pick……conspiracy?? and wth happened to the Bulls?

  2. By the way, the Providence Steamrollers were so bad that they folded a season or two after. Like they just ceased to exist.

  3. It’s bad but the clippers are worse, at least the pelicans have some good young piece and future draft capjtal

  4. worst situation is such a dumb thing to say. off course terrible trades but their 2 rookies look amazing.

  5. NOLA need to be a play-in team/playoff team in order for the trade not to look bad. But only NOLA’s front office believe they were a playoff team this season.

  6. Not a hot take, but if availability is the best ability, then they need to stop giving max contracts to injury prone players.

  7. Sure this season is bad but "worst situation in the NBA" is just nonsense. If Mikal and Bane can go for 9 frp combined then I'm sure Herb and Trey will draw a similar package. Pels also own Bucks 2027 frp and traded the swap rights for Bucks 2026 frp in addition to our own frp to Hawks. which means thereis a possibility of getting our 2026 FRP back as part of a Giannis trade. Zion's value is also interesting as well since his deal is non-guranteed. Anybody willing to offload a bad contract could simply trade for Zion and just waive him before July 15th 2026 and not be on the hook for the money. Definitely not the outcome we wanted considering our potential, BUT there is light at the end of the tunnel.

  8. Murphy and herb to pistons for Tobias jovontae green sasser paul reed 2026+2028 first 5second 2032 pick swap Zion for lamelo straight up

  9. Tbh If Dejounte wasn't hurt he would actually fit well on the Hawks now with how they play without Trae

  10. The Pelicans are cooked, but their situation is still not as bad as the Clipper's. They at least have young players with some potential and more future 1st round picks.

Still, I highly doubt they manage the turnaround with Dumars at the helm.

  11. Yeah man getting comparisons to the Providence Steamrollers in 2025 is absolutely disgraceful.

  12. 2:30 Derik Queen has NOT been "fine". His passable offensive game doesn't make up for how much of a black hole he is on defense.

  13. Yea you can tell GM's don't watch the games and make there decisions on box scores/highlights. More bad move mad by them then good.

  14. Queen is not worth a top 5 pick in the 2026 draft. The Pelicans will be moving to Seattle or some other city if the Kings move to Seattle.

  15. best big 3 we've seen in a draft class in a very long time? 🤔

….allow me to remind u that just a few drafts ago there was the big 3 of Paolo Banchero, Chet Holmgren, and Jabari Smith Jr. haha.

  16. Do you guys also know that the Hawks get the most favorable pick between the Bucks and Pels next year from the Dejounte trade?

  17. Pelicans need to move on from Zion he’s injury prone yeah we all get it when’s he’s on the court he’s a beast the thing is that’s when he’s on the court lmao it’s not looking any better might be over hyped of a player people were also saying he was going to be the next LeBron 😂 stop the 🧢

  18. Murray is a really good player, but they totally overpaid for him. Then tearing his Achilles, which is the worst injury to endure. Along with him and Zion, it seems like Trey and Herb Williams are never healthy either.

  19. This is what happens when you hire a relic as GM with no due diligence.A lazy hire. And the idiot makes trades that make no sense. He should be fired. He for not having the foresight to see this that this team has done nothing in the past six years and you double down on this monstrosity of a team.FIRE DUMARS!
