2-7 vs teams .500 or better. I hope they can turn it around, but they are definitely not underrated right now
Nothing new. The Wolves can beat anybody but they also can lose to anybody especially the better teams in the league because they don't have an elite option at PG or to get the team easy buckets in crunch time situations instead of the team turning the ball over 25% of the time in those possessions. You might get through one platoff series like that but it could more likely cost you in close games as it had before their recent win streak. They should have brought in Westbrook if Conley was really washed and Dillingham is not going to be ready.
The Wolves can win 1 series with Randle as their 2nd best player but they can't win 4 as the teams get better. Randle as the 3rd option if Wolves added Kyrie, AD, Trae, Melo etc would be a much better option. Wolves need a better decision maker than they currently have on the roster.
Jaylen Clark is the newest guy on the Wolves who will make NBA fans ask where we found him.
If Anthony Edwards played primarily off-ball, he would not receive as many double teams. Double teams in the NBA are a defensive strategy used to stop the primary ball-handler and main scoring threat when they have possession of the ball, forcing them to pass and disrupting their team's offense.
Even though Donte is designated the PG he is not the primary ball handler. I wish the Wolves would have either gotten a veteran PG, a few years younger than Conley to start. Maybe this will happen at the trade deadline or sooner. As of now other teams are going to load up on Ant to take him out of the game. The Wolves can continue as his if there are no major injuries,but the season is long and these players will be burnt out by playoff time with no changes.
