In this video, I explain how Steve Kerr finally made all the right calls by starting Pat Spencer, having a center on the floor at all times with Quinten Post – the second-best defensive center in the NBA statistically – and TJD, and allowing Gui Santos enough playing time to show what he can do when given the proper opportunity, to get their most improbable and best win of the season against Donovan Mitchell and the Cavaliers on the road.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Kuminga continues to be abysmal, and both Moses Moody and Podz were benched, signaling the end times for the two-timeline movement”

  1. haha there's that smile! Who knew…playing Post, Santos and the Legendary Lacrosse player more than 25 mins a game would get us a W. 🤔 (Everyone on Jim Parks Channel that's who!) 💪

  2. Pat has a better floor game than podz but at the same time i didnt see podz do a bunch of in paint pump fakes , why does it take pat eating your minutes to play the right way🤦

  3. I’ve been thinking the Kuminga problem is a “fit” issue. Watching this game makes me think it’s actually a “role” issue.

Seems like he’s out there with no clear direction from the coaching staff of what his role is. Seems like every other player at least has a “role”.

Based on how he just stands there most times, feels like they bombarded him with a host of things “not to do”: no midrange jump shots, no layups, don’t do this, don’t do that, don’t, don’t don’t, etc etc. And if you do, you’re benched or if you make a mistake you’re bench.

He’s a “flow” type of player that needs the ball or minutes at least. But they’re molding him into something he’s not: A ball-distributing power forward/C.

Best case scenario is communication from Kerr is awful, vague and contradictory. Worst case is Kerr is sabotaging this kid.

  4. Now the only thing i see that was a negative is that we dont penetrate the paint enough there was to much perimeter passing lookn for 3s we need to penetrate the paint not jus pass aslong the 3point li e other than that we were solid

  5. Subbed out TJD and too much Hield and Podz in the last 6 minutes thats why it was close.. Podz almost choked thanks the refs didn't call the travel.

  6. As long as kerr is the coach, i will NOT watch anymore. I check the score (day after) and listen to JimPark. Kerr never plays the BEST producing players, he picks lineups in some random, crazy order(names in a hat?) and put guys in any position..Plus he doesnt like TALL guys. I take all bets he will play Buddy, Pods, JK, GPII, and Dray as a lineup next game. EFFEN IDIOT,.

  7. I'm not anti-Buddy Hield I'm anti Buddy Hield closing games. And Kerr has finally learned that lesson. Even if he's having the best game of his life having him out there is still too risky.

  8. New subscriber here, and I love the analysis – free of noise, straight talk. They'll play their highest paid players. Re: Kuminga, although I firmly believe he's been mismanaged, there's probably no fit going forward with this organization.

  9. Kerr closing with Podz on a game deciding defensive last play is totally insane.Outside of playing Podz kerr coaching was much better this game.

  10. Pat can literally be our tj McConnell. Issue is we still have 10 freaking guards on the team…

  11. so great to see the joyful look on your face, jim, after the warriors win on the road against the cavs using post, santos, and spencer big minutes for an effing change. the offensive flow and defensive connectedness is so superior when those three are on the floor compared to when airpods and kuminga are on the floor. every basketball playing kid in america whoever got meaningful playing time in high school learned on the playground playing 3-on-3 that you shoot if you have a good look, bring it to the rim if you have a lane, or pass and CUT–to the basket, to set a screen for the guy you passed to, or to set a screen away from the ball. it's so BASIC, and airpods and kuminga, and to a lesser extent even moody, just don't have that in their basketball DNA. not to mention with some extra height and hustle out there, we got rebounds we were supposed to get and prevented easy buckets around the rim for the opponents. hurray. trade buddy, kuminga, and pods as soon as possible, and, the way green took david lee's spot as a starter, start gui at power forward, bring draymond off the bench, and keep post as the starting center with TJD in reserve at that position instead of draymond. you have been all over the truth all year, jim!

  12. I have a feeling that Draymond has been the reason for the Warriors downfall and not just because he plays C but also on offence, the offence does not flow well with him and he also is a turnover machine making foolish passes. We saw today that even with JK and Podz making bad plays the warriors still had the upper hand throughout the game, Draymond although an elite defender might be the real negative that’s been dragging this team down. What do you think?

  13. As dutchman. I love my country men .defensie ve big man.He should improve on paintoffence. I like Post having a big role in a Warriors succes

  14. The poise and competitiveness of Spencer and Santos, along with no four guard lineups got it done.

  15. Funny how all the media people here in the bay hate on Post!! I’m in all the live chats destroying these fools daily!

  16. CONSTANTLY, when you look at the +/- when Spence/Podz play meaningful minutes…its a tale of 2 stories. And it's not even close. I don't always count just on that, but its not only CONSTANTLY a drastic difference, but when you JUST WATCH WITH YOUR OWN EYES… you can see and feel that the team is overall… BETTER. I have no idea why it has taken this long, other than Spencer doesn't look the part, and what a ridiculous way to justify him not getting on the court more. TALK YO SHIT SPENCE! And Gui! I swear the team and fans have amnesia on what an impact he made playing big minutes in a stretch, closer to the end of the season last season. He was apart of what had them winning games! And BOOM! Thank you for helping the team, but back to the bench during the playoffs and most of this season

  17. Seth curry has a toe soreness injury so he was out cuz I think it happened during OKC game he should be able to play against bulls but everyone out shine Johnathan even buddy and Brandon played better than him

  18. We have a time line. Just 2 years w curry.
Podz is dispensable. Expendable. Disposable. Non-essential. We can do without him.
Trade him and get curry his last ring.
Spenser is a far better player than podz.
Podz is… favored and it’s annoying!!! Trade that child away.
Played a point guard game w zero assists!!! Joke ting
We could hv developed jk and didn’t. Here’s Spenser. What will they do?
Kerr… u can have an agenda for us to loose but our young core has heart and are not on the same agenda.

  19. I Agree with You 100% Pertaining to how These Players are Utilized Santos, Spencer & Seth Curry Needs to be Used More in Order for The Warriors to go far & Make A Playoff Push this Season!! These Guys are Young & very Talented Players & Steve Kerr Need to use these Guys More Often in Order to Win Games

  20. Bro I’ve been saying this it made no sense last season. Pat Spencer was doing good in the finals and yet Steve didn’t play him enough

  21. I just got a good feeling Jim will be smiling from ear to ear with this Warriors win over the Bulls! just have to comment before his video will be posted! P.S. with this current roster/subs, man Kuminga really needs to go and can't be a fit in any kind of lineup variation. Buddy though most of us want him gone/traded, he still can be plugged in because he can still shoot 3s while JK really can't

  22. It was THE starting lineup. Spencer is a star. You didn't see that, no one did. Santos is a star. He should at least be the 6th man. Podz should never shoot again…laughs. They had a shut down defense out there. The Cavs couldn't handle it. When Kuminga comes around…he will come around, this is a team.

  23. Kerr’s golden child, Podz, still leads the team in minutes no matter how he plays. The moment Podz has a decent game, he’s back in the starting lineup, regardless of how well Pat is playing.
