How the Nuggets are winning while starting Spencer Jones–a guy on a two way contract with the Nuggets G League team–is one of the mysteries of the season. I'm wracking my brain trying to think of a serious contender that's ever before regularly started a two way contract guy. Has that ever happened before? Not even because you claim to be a LeBron fan (which doesn't even seem convincing), but because there's no reason to set anything in stone in advance and to keep insisting something plays out a certain way even if the reality happens to show something else. It's not even a problem if things play out the way you think they will, the problem is trying to force things to play out a certain way.

I think Jordan Walsh is "Made Money" more than he is "Found Money." The Celtics drafted him super low and have been slowly developing him over these 2 year time. If you saw where he started, man the changd is night and day.

Something I was curious about…u mentioned the Lakers' season long trend of much better 2nd halfs than 1st halfs due to messing around early. Could it be better summed up as good coaching & identifying key halftime adjustments turning a potentially effective gameplan to an actual game specific one? This leads to heightened focus by a team full of average to high basketball IQ players from an equally cerebral coaching staff (also why I think Vando has fallen out of favor…great natural defensive ability & instincts, yet often makes mental blunders & an offensive nonfactor)

Turnovers are coming from the guys attempting difficult passes trying to get an easy score..the lakers take a lot of chances on offense and defense. Laravia got burned really bad when he reached in looking for a a steal. There was no need for it either.

For this OKC team to have a chance to lose, it will take 3 or more of these things:
1. A good opponent (above .500)
2. Road game
3. Second night of back to back
4. Injured rotation players
5. Opposing player having career night.
Portland needed all 5 to win by 2. They will not lose more than 10 games all year and no one is beating them 4 out of 7 games.
Pat spencer had legitimate goat potential if he had chosen to go pro in lacrosse, he was top 5 in points and #1 in assists in ncaa history, won the tewaaraton award, the heisman of lacrosse, and frankly was maybe the best college player ive ever seen. I would have been shocked no matter how good he was at actual basketball if he wasnt an incredibly high iq player
