I dont want this but I would understand U may want to trade amen+a first round pick vs giannis to make a giannis, kd, alpi triangle to win a championchip in the next 2 years. Hard pass on Giannis. Stone treasures his young players and draft capital. Besides, Giannis is not the playmaker that Sengun is. You can't really run offense through him unless you're just letting him go iso all the time, and I've seen enough of that with James Harden over the years and don't want to see the Rockets play that brand of basketball again. Another reason for the trade being a bad idea is that Amen and Giannis together would kill the spacing for themselves and their teammates because neither can shoot.

I love Sengun, but he’s not getting us pass OKC this year at least, Giannis will. Trade Sengun and VanFleet with a 1st pick or two, get back Giannis and KPJ (for ballhandling and shooting) that’s all we need to guarantee the championship this year.
