Like their last game, the Raptors failed defensively in covering 3-point shooters and they paid the price. They were down 15 to 20 points in the second half and did not take high percentage shots to get back in the game. Instead, they took too many 3 point attempts, especially by Shead who is a terrible 3-point shooter. As a result, the Raptors did not work the ball into the paint or near it and attempt easier shots which could have drawn fouls and more points. Jacob Poeltl was clumsy and unable to catch short passes in the paint. His hands were like rocks tonight. The Raptors shot selection was terrible when they were losing in the second half. A team does not get back in a game by attempting 3-point shots.
Does anyone know why Yabusele has become straight up unplayable?
