Giannis needs defensive players around him that can get stops when needed and then they will have a chance for a chip.
Teams that are successful in the last few year have been playing together for years like the bucks, warrior, denver, celtics and okc. Also, the best team in the nba is okc which are 21-1. Giannis has been there for years and only one championship.
I would say he should retire for 2 years and come back for the bucks at 33

Knicks cannot give the Bucks the package the Spurs can. The only team who could match or surpass the Spurs is the Thunder and I don't see them bringing Giannis into OKC and mess up the chemistry they already have.
Spurs are the favorites to get Giannis b/c of players and draft picks. Spurs are not trading BOTH Castle and Harper and I'm thinking they will walk if Bucks want both.
Vassell and Johnson and Hawks picks are going to be involved if the Spurs pull the trigger and immediately be able to compete with the Thunder.
Regarding fast results, i think yall have a misunderstanding of business of the NBA. Teams pay hundreds of millions of dollars for players. Plus the hundred of millions the owners spent to buy the team. That's a lot of capital spending. Small town teams are usually not profitable. The owners make their money when they sell the team. If the owner keeps the team for a few years, that's billions of dollars that are locked up that you can't play with until you sell the team. Of course you need results quickly! Making the playoffs generates millions of dollars that recoups capital through more TV revenue, more ticket sales, more social media revenue etc. The deeper you go, the more $$. The comment about staying on a team forever for loyalty goes both ways. There ain't no team out there that won't trade their star player if they believed they could get someone better….or at least get them more revenue.
Wow I see some of the fans of Bucks are not happy with Giannis, what?? He has given the team everything, he got a chip for this long lost franchise, is it his fault to wish for being competitive ? Hostage the team, what is that about, you mean the GM get bad deals, signing not so right players and he wants to improve is taking the team in hostage? Come on, he would have gone if he doesn't want to make Bucks a better team for a championship, and these fans should be grateful for that, he's not taking the pay cheque and being lazy and no spirit no ambition for another championship. Taking 50M a year is easily making you enjoying your life with no effort like Ben Simmons.

If you sign Giannis, you are signing 2-3 MORE of his brothers which will take room on the bench, and take from rightful other players. It's extreme nepotism. And Giannis is always/mostly injured. I would tread lightly.
The Knicks don't need yarnis
Knicks fan here. I don't want Giannis. We have everything we need already. Price would be way too high to get him here. If we still had all those draft picks we stupidly overpaid to get Bridges, then maybe. But we don't. The Knicks look great under Mike Brown and are only getting better.
We can compete with any team in the NBA now. Eff that trade.
