  1. Another 3Q collapse. Pop hiring a limp-wristed assistant now pretending to be a head coach is going to doom the Spurs if they do not get Giannis. Wimpy Mitch Johnson proved OVER SIX MONTHS last season that he doesn't know WTF he is doing. He cannot manage lineups or make in-game adjustments. And he has not shown any improvement this season.

  2. The third quarter issues are defensive, not offense and are due to second half adjustments and a seeming lack of counter-adjustments. Until late. In the last two games it's been the same, opp teams noticed the lack of rim protection or a flaw with it (coaching staff should realize that Wemby is an anomaly. Looking for someone to fill in for his style will not work) and a switch of approach from East/wests play to north/south. Lottery team or contender, it works by exploiting inability to cover both nail and rim. Whether by cuts or driving. That's how Queen was able to utterly decimate the Spurs. This means too much drop coverage and while Barnes is great on offense, he's been too porous on defense. I think Bryant and Sohan shoulda gotten more minutes, they allow for better switching on defense.

  3. The Spurs are so bad in the 3rd quarter that losing teams look forward to playing the Spurs in that quarter.🤦‍♂️

  4. Not liking our offense Even with Wimby. It seems like he always has to take thought shots. Or stuck having to Shoot a 3. Not to Clear what our system is besides the High Handoffs.

  5. You have a different definition of devastating than I do Keenan. It would have sucked but it wouldn't have been devastating this team is proving it can rebound from bad losses

  6. Another solid analysis, Keenan. I like Castle at point. He has great court vision. Harper is indeed a super duper scoring machine. Third quarter is becoming a bad habit.

  7. I would like to see mitch johnson and even the players show more intensity and anger when they lose these big leads . i want the coach to jump on their asses like POP always did to players get in their faces.

  8. When it comes to trades, I'm thinking the only untouchables are Castle, Harper and that french kid. Harper has been amazing. Great playmaker, great pace, clutch and efficient. Castle is just Castle, dude's incredible on both ends of the floor. I personally wouldn't mind trading away Fox, I don't think he's essential. We got him for a bag of chips so you can't be mad at that, but if the Spurs ever want another all-star or a few very good role players, Fox is the trade asset to use.

  9. Castle definitely isnt a PG…he doesnt have the inherent game management and passing instincts…he is a great secondary ballhandler tho..
