Scottie should have took the last couple shots, BI was tired.. hadn't gotten to the basket all night. Didn't get into actions quick either down the stretch, Scottie made lunch of their defence with cuts and movement. Should have stuck to that which got us back in the game
Did anyone else see Labron throwing players around the last 4 minutes?
One of the worst ref jobs I’ve seen in a while. But I still take this game as a win for the raptors as a team as it shows we can be competitive against a contending team although Luka wasn’t playing.
REAVES was the player you were not allowed to touch tonight. If BI3 was only allowed those graces.

Walter definitely should have been in over Shead, or even Battle in late. We got too many good guys to not ride the hot hand and Battles D generally seems solid himself
These aren’t exactly the kind of games I want to see. I don’t want to see anymore games with this team playing without a center. Another game where we gave up a bunch of 2nd and 3rd chances because there’s no real center on the floor. We just paid Jakob big money to put him on load management. The lakers scored way too many baskets right at the rim proving once against this foolish undersize big man route is useless. Not having any kind of real backup center is costing us games! Every game we play without a center some big man on the other team is looking like allstar out there. It could be a scrub center off the bench like Jaxson Hayes who was getting his hands on everything.

play in bounce is perfect for a lottery pick and a bit of improvement. nice draft pick to fill out the roster also. remember free agents dont sign in toronto, so only sustainable way to build a good team is through draft.
There's always one thing missing when Yak is not playing and that it is a center with size. Why don't they bring back Moses Brown?
This would be my exact case if we didn’t do a Giannis trade to make a sabonis trade Jakob Poeltl back injuries are seriously worrying and they are no going away his in his 30s already having more back issues

I enjoyed the game despite the loss. Yes
the refs were biased and the Raps missed RJ and Poeltl but there was a lot of good basketball out there. Scottie just continues to amaze (should have taken the last couple of shots). Mamu and CMB were solid as usual. Walter played well (should have been in for Shed at the end). Battle finally got enough minutes to show what he can do (could have used a couple of his 3's at the end). Hope this level of play continues.
My biggest negative was the continuing lack of a backup centre. Hope Bobby has a trade planned for Dec 15 although we don't have much to offer. I still think we should sign Jamarion Sharp. 7'5", G League, free agent. Last game: 8 pts, 8 rebounds, 8 blocks, 4 steels in 23 min. This is his level of contribution every game. Rim protection, disrupting the offence and making some dunks. That's all he can do but that's all we need. Can pick him up cheap on a non-guaranteed contract and send him back if he doesn't perform. Hey Bobby, what's to loose?

No moral victories we chocked in the first half and should have not been in that tight of a game. Calling to Fire Bobby if he doesn’t fix this roster by Dec 31. Now I’m not making some splashy discussion just in background hope Rogers is letting him know since if others know it hurts us in trades but he has had since draft night and not even a small move.

CmB is already a better defender than mamu. I believe we should have gone to CMB down the stretch instead of mommy. Mommy’s shot wasn’t on tonight. CMB was playing great and his eyes are wild. Great passing skills. He’s gotta get more reps with the main guys to continue to built chemistry
IS BI injured?
Coach should see what Battle brings to the game, and should never benched him until the end of the game. The only guy on the floor who cuts when BI and Scotty has the ball is Jamison. It is him who kepts the Raptors momentum, why you bench him. I do not know what is going on with him, but this guy is a pure scorer whom can change so many situation for the Raptors but is given 5-10mn max.
If someone knows what is going on with Battle, let me know.
Every bellow 500 team comes to Toronto and get more free throws . Reaves is only good because he's a Laker this guy got 2 three point calls . I would of put my feet under Reaves and snap that ancle. the league hates our team and its safe to say we should goon it up
