Having Minnesota ranked above the Lakers is beyond laughable. They’ve played twice and the Lakers have beaten them twice, the Lakers have a better record, and the Lakers are better at almost every position.
I guess if you’re going by the last two seasons then Minnesota is two for two in WCF appearances. But the Lakers are clearly better right now.

Why the Cavs do it:
Lamelo ball is a big guard who plays extremely similar to Garland but fixes some issues with his height and rebounding ability. “HeS NoT a WiNnInG pLaYeR” that’s exactly why we have a coach of the year and have worked to establish a great culture over the years.
Hornets:
Hornets receive Ellis who is a good fit and could be a future trade piece.
They also receive cap space this offseason now from Derozen. And future picks for my flexibility.
Kings:
Kings expressed great interest in Garland over the offseason. They get their future point guard and become younger.
More Suns disrespect from Bill. The fact that they are playing this well with all the injuries and with Jalen Green playing one game is crazy. They are definitely better than the Warriors.

The Jason Kidd Point Guard thing, it's a classic from Bill's past–The All Time Great who can't coach because he has super crazy expectations. Legit a "how hard can it be to play point guard? I played PG for 20 years with great success." And as Mahoney points out, "Fine. I'll still be the point guard from the sideline" is definitely what happened. Turns out, Cooper Flagg great passer and playmaker for a wing. Not so much as an actual point guard.

Put JK in Nets and he’ll average 50’points a game. MPJ gets the minutes and they allow him to take as many shots he wants. If the Warriors get MPJ they are not even making the play in. He is a small player disguised in a tall body
