It’s not rocket science guys. Half of these losses could easily be wins (lakers, hornets, Celtics, etc). Jak in and out of the lineup, Rj has been out for 2 weeks, quickley missed tonight, no wonder they are losing. 80% of the rosters salary is in 5 players like cmon what are we talking about here. Yes a lot of the guys haven’t played well and some of the losses are unacceptable but at the end of the day they are role players. They were playing great to start the year because they were surrounded by great now. Now rj has been out, jak is in and out and quickley missed tonight. Let’s pump the breaks on the this team is a 500 team. We clearly saw what they were capable of when the whole team was available.
Boys boys boys, Raps were making shots when they needed to when they were on that 9 game win streak. Now, they are not making those cluth buckets at all. That is why there is a drought in scoring right now. Its simply not hitting their wide open shots. And they are getting them!!!!
Players meeting needs to happen.. the defensive identity has to be there every night.

The injured players show the roster is thin

Toronto SUCKS!!! If they lose one of the four major players on the team they lose games. If RJ wasn't injured "yes" Raptors would win their last five games. This team is only getting worst with no RJ.
The Asian guy doesn’t have a foreign Asian accent
They couldn't score because two of their best offensive players weren't playing. Have an ounce of perspective. We literally ended up playing two G League Players.
What happened is you guys are just fans like the rest of us and were fooled by the streak but in reality this team is exactly what analyst said they were ….lucky to be in the play in games
When scottie has to play the 5 spot and guard the other teams center the rest of scotties game suffers …..this management has failed to aquire a true center for this team …Jak is a shell of himself
The team is so garbage painful to have to watch the guys make mistakes and suffer on the court not fun to watch they need help some of these guys need to get traded they arent doing anything

RJ is their real leader. They were playing great until he got injured.
Similar to Mitch Marner, the Toronto media & fans totally undervalue their own son. They spent the whole off season trading RJ away, even though he led the team in 2024/2025.
You guys should be questioning every disrespectful take you had on RJ. Every dismissal of his play. Every giving credit to everyone BUT him. During the winning streak they had RJ Barrett. If you don’t see what he brings to the table by now you are just being willfully ignorant. I’m sorry.

Not enough talent. Especially in the Guard positions. crappy 3 pt shooting.
Raptors fans have short memories. RJ is not the savior for this team. Yea he brings an element to this team that is lacking. But even when they were winning many line ups with Rj were a net negative. The team was playing inconsistently during that time and had maybe 5 games where they played well on both ends for most of the game. They are also relying on rookies, 2nd and 3rd year players to help with defence, shooting and floor spacing. Those players aren’t ready and need more reps. This isn’t a recipe for success. They are also a bad rebounding and rim protecting team.
That 9 game win streak was fake. Some of the worst teams in the league or teams with a bunch of injuries. You saw this during their wins when they would be winning by 15 and they just about manage to win by like 4. Changes need to be made!!
The spacing around Scottie + bench lineups was terrible, Knicks just crowded the paint and stopped Scottie
You guys are being too nice on Darko and his lineups, not playing starters more. Mamu missed two threes and gets benched, he’s shown enough in prior games that he deserves a longer leash. Ochai, Grady and Chuky instead of Walter makes no sense. Should have pulled Purtle earlier. Purtle was terrible this game
Honestly, I think it goes back to Poertl. Even though he plays a great technical game. He is fumbly and cannot hit mid range or 3, and loses some battles for the ball because of being fumbly. It affects the whole team and the game.
It's not like NY Knicks play their bench much. They had 2 starters at minimum on the court last night.

My problem with this raptors organization is how do u have a franchise player that is a paint merchant, a pass first and has high iq kind of player and yet for the past 5 years you have not surrounded him with consistent shooters and an athletic big man. This team is 2 consistent shooters and an athletic big away from being a real contender

Hi…? The “worst of the year” comments are confusing; it’s not been two months yet(!). Raps had a great 1st quarter, but, sometimes, teams lose games.
There’s nothing wrong with the raptors at all tbh, just playing competition above our current level. As long as we beat down the sub 500 teams we’ll be in a strong position in the east.
