Adelman and good coach? He lost 4 home games one after another and was outcoached.
CP3's leadership and experience could be valuable for this team. Most other Denver fans will hate the idea because they view him as a "villain". Whatever. The NBA isn't a comic book.

Look, David Aldeman insists on Peyton Watson and Spencer as starters. These guys aren't defending well. And David Aldeman is by far the worst coach among the contenders; his defensive system is awful. We're winning every game thanks to Jokic and Jamal. Don't you realize that the guy is limited and terrible?

Good episode. Defense has been concerning. Chris Paul talk is fine. As a contender you have to always do your due diligence and inquire. Zeke, Hunter and Picket taking up roster spots feels like an absolute killer when it comes to roster construction. I feel like the Nuggets would be better off cutting Hunter if they need to sign someone and convert Spencer.

I think regular season CP3 is a liability but in a WCF against OKC, pairing him (mostly on the bench) with Jokic is probably the single action that maximizes win chance.

Said it all last season, since we drafted him really! PWat is NOT a 4, he’s been played out of position until this season, he is a 2/3 and has proven it this season. Glad he’s not being given the Zeke treatment anymore by playing him outa position his entire first 4 seasons! Zeke being forced to play the 5 ruined his career…
The Nuggets D will be better when they have CB and AG back simply because they will have more depth and can put more energy as a team on the end of the floor.

I also LOVE how Adelman chooses his rotations and who starts abd sits. He uses a different style depending on what the game needs. Similar to a coaching version of Jokić, Adelman will not run rotations like Malone who would never alter his minutes or rotation at all! We all knew what was coming at the end of the 3rd beginning of the 4th and hoped to withstand it. With Adelman, he will at least be willing to take a different approach and use different players for more or less minutes. The difference is is night and day and as a guy that loved Moach, his absence has shown me just how much he affected our team in a negative way. It's actually pretty interesting.
On the fouling/defense increase, I feel like as much as we all know that we are missing two of our best defenders and as soon as those guys went down, so did our defense as we've had to play guys we normally wouldn't. Amd I'd argue we DID do something special. Our opp 3pt percentage still hasn't changed much and it was something that clearly stood out. So as much as it may seem that we didn't do anything special, we kinda did. Not only that, but at the time it was a fairly good sample size.
Things have massively changed in the way this team has changed its play, it's rotations and so much more. We still run splits nonstop, but we don't have the guys rhat have the experience woth Jok & the guys. So imo we just need to give then time as we bide thru this injury period we're dealing with. I feel like we got a great team, scratch that, I KNOW we have a great team. We just gotta be realistic in our expectations. Like Ryan said "we ARE doing the right things"
Spencer Jones converted to full contract > Chris Paul brought on as pg. I love CP3 and could see him actually helping us out in the way we need him and get along with Chris quite well. Defense might be an issue and that's where Spencer, not to mention his age, plays such a huge factor!
You brought up a good point on bringing the ball up too. He's better than Pickett, Strawther & more bringing the ball up, but the guys they have to bring the ball up including Jok leave them in almost an overwhelming amount of riches as far as bringing the ball up especially with Swatson's improvement.
Cp3 is interesting. But Spencer to a full contract is a better fit imo!
