It looks like the hawks are going after AD
Agree with your take on AD. His salary along with his amount of games he plays are a NO DEAL. Furthermore, the best way to use AD is with Trae (and you say) w PnR. Hawks have gone away from the PnR game in favor of ball movement. PnR slows the game and takes 3 wings out of the play. I prefer ball movement over PnR. Therefore, NO to AD.
I’d def take AD if he was available for say a kp some first & fillers type package if it’s possible without me knowing ads contract etc I believe he should be only like 2 yrs left on it making it a good tradable asset if it doesn’t work out not pelicans first tho

Imo, trade for AD makes zero sense. Trade for Giannis makes little sense. 3rd youngest team…all of the main guy are ascending other than Trae. KP is a champ veteran who prob wont be resigned. Use his salary for more pieces. Im all about 2,3 yrs down the line. We will have a top 5 pick in a loaded draft next yr.
Brad, do you believe Shams is not as credible in his reporting compared to Woj. He seems to always be reporting from unnamed sources… his reports seem always open ended to the point where I feel he is trying to stay relevant– when obviously he is the nbas top insider.
I would trade Trae and risacher for a first round pick and maybe a player. I wouldn’t trade the pelicans pick. I don’t see Risacher long term with Quinn’s reluctance to close games with him
As long as we don’t trade that pelicans pick or Jalen Johnson. I will lose my mind if either happen.

Let’s keep it real, the Hawks aren’t going to pay Trae more than Jalen when Jalen is the better player. They’re going for try and trade him, it makes complete sense for them to do so, it might not be for AD or Giannis but I’m sure they’re looking to trade him. And there’s no way they’re trading the 2026 pick, especially with how good Queen is playing, he’s better than Okangwu right now
