CAVS TRADE RUMORS – COULD MOVES BE ON THE WAY??? – 5 Good Minutes With Windy

As the Cavs continue to struggle this season, our guy Brian Windhorst is here to talk about the state of the team, if any trades are coming, and MUCH more!

  1. TIME TO FIX THIS TEAM:

    Cavs:
    Lamelo Ball

    Hornets:
    Derozan
    Saric
    Ellis
    Cavs future first
    Kings future first
    Cavs swap

    Kings:
    Darius Garland

    Why the Cavs do it:
Lamelo ball is a big guard who plays extremely similar to Garland but fixes some issues with his height and rebounding ability. “HeS NoT a WiNnInG pLaYeR” that’s exactly why we have a coach of the year and have worked to establish a great culture over the years.

    Hornets:
Hornets receive Ellis who is a good fit and could be a future trade piece.

They also receive cap space this offseason now from Derozen. And future picks for my flexibility.

    Kings:
Kings expressed great interest in Garland over the offseason. They get their future point guard and become younger.

  2. Why is Dean Wade missing those shots??? Is Windy trying to be funny? The answer has been obvious for several years. By NBA standards, Dean Wade is a stiff! He should be playing in Charlotte or Washington, not on a team that claims to have championship aspirations.

  3. Yes Garland is too small and he can’t shoot for anything
Allen sucks in the playoffs and so does Garland

  4. If the Orlando Magic can finally admit they need a proper floor general, and that two power forwards who play the same way in the same space aren't going to work, I would do Garland for Wagner. That trade works for the numbers, and both teams get better – don't tell that to Magic fans though. They aren't ready to hear it yet.

In that case, I would push Jarrett Allen to the bench unit, and start Mobley at the 5 with Franz at 4, and Mitchell starts at point. Struss/Sam compete for the 2 slot. Hunter/Tyson compete for the 3 slot. Losing Garlands ball handling and facilitation would be rough, but CPJ is ready

  5. Trade Garland and Allen for Yannis!! Garland Always hurt and Allen just aloof. Also the trade rules and restrictions are just Dumb

  6. A three team with Charlotte and Milwaukee is the only way I see it can go. Mobley stays, I don’t think Mitchellbis resigning, DG and Allen have to go. Melo, Bridges and Giannis to the Cavs. Cavs lose Mitchell, DG, Allen and Wade

  7. this is why the idiot cavs are in the position their in because they keep thinking what they have is better than they are. They've done this the last 2 years we have been put out the playoffs. Koby Altman and the cavs are some goofies….the nba has changed and they still acting like they got what it takes and they dont

  8. My opinion, the best trade for the Cavs right now is to trade

Mobley & Hunter for Giannis (and his brothers for roster filling)
    Strus to Detroit (salary dump)
    Detroit sends Levert to Utah
    and
Utah sends Love to Cleveland & Niang to Detroit

It works money wise, has to happen after December 15th & obviously throw whatever picks necessary to Milwaukee or whatever y’all wanna do, I only cared about making the money work. If I’m not mistaken it also puts us under the 2nd Apron which should make a move to get rid of Jarrett Allen possible.

I haven’t done the numbers on any of your trades to see if they work cap wise since our trade ability is limited due to the 2nd Apron.

  9. Every offensive set that ends with a swing to a Dean Wade three feels like a wasted possession. I just can't understand why Kenny has such unshakeable faith in the guy.

  10. Every single comment in here is from a casual nba fan lmao. None of these suggested trades work folks. The team is what the team is lmao.
