  1. How do we know we aren’t already in a rebuild focused around Keegan? All NBA greats didn’t start off great. I think we are over looking Keegan’s development as the next to take us over the top. We need to get rid of ball hogs like Lavine and Derozan and let Keegan develop. We just need a shot blocker and some shooters and let Keegan cook

  2. Be careful with a rebuild after hiring a former nba player as your head coach.

Typically these types of coaches are more vet leaning and not really great teachers.

If The Kings are really going to a youth movement i would suggest a young head coach who has a specific vision of the style of play he wants to demand.

  3. I truly think we can have a solid team in two years and then be pushing the playin in the third year and the playoffs the following. To help get the fans there, ownership should cut all tickets and concessions at Golden1 back by 25% for the next 3 years.

  4. Matt George, I heard Grant Napear today echoing your view that Keegan needs to start making shots. Zero excuses. He isn’t a rookie anymore and is being paid a big contract. I know he isn’t a #1 scorer but he needs to show growth in his offensive game. Keegan is a centerpiece of this rebuild.

  5. Keep our first round pick. Trade Monk and two second round picks for Kamiga from the Warriors. I forgot how to spell his name.

  6. If they do it right and make the playoffs, but this whole organization needs a major upgrade not just the its roster. But I don’t see this happening anytime soon. It’ll be interesting to see what Scott Perry has in store this off season

  7. Uh, no. You’ve got a crap team that gets even crappier with every trade, free agent signing, and change of the calendar date. Sell the team, move the team, and 100% overhaul the team and we’ll revisit this current joke in a few years. “Light the Beam” has been replaced by “Light my Fart” in SackTown.

  8. Sacramento, New Orleans, Washington, Charlotte: enjoy the teams you have now as much as they suck, because as soon as the NBA expansion goes global your shit will be in Europe lmaoooooo

  9. My optimistic time line will improve the second I don't have to watch Lavine in a Kings uniform. Now Perry did do a radio interview today and sounds convincing so I will be watching to see if his actions match. As for Domas I think it could work here, he will still just play hard

  10. What other team will be dumb enough to take on Lavine's contract. He makes $47 mil this year and $48 mil next year. On top of that, he does not contribute to winning but instead contributes to losing. Teams don't want that. Best hope for the Kings is for the whole Kings organization including Kings fans (including the Kings superfan) to keep turning on him so that he opts out of his contract next year which he has a player option. I do NOT want to keep having to watch this guy. He is so unlikeable and has a trashy attitude. He does not like Kings fans nor even his own teammates. He needs to go.

  11. My reasoning before the season to include an unprotected 1st for Kuminga In 2030 I believe was because he's soaking wet dripping with raw athletic talent and will have a literal mountain sized chip on his shoulder to prove Kerr and the Warriors wrong.

I wasn't expecting Kuminga to turn Sacramento into a western conference finals winner but considering they are 6-18 and called a difficult watch and don't have some budding All nba superstar i still think it would have made sense if the Deal was made.

They could be 11-14 or 14-11 even and Kuminga be a fringe Allstar.

Also the deal would have also gotten Kings off that 18 million dollar they owed Monk if they included that unprotected 1st.

I'm still not 100 percent convinced I'd still not have done it. But I also absolutely love how Scott played it too.

Kuminga could end up being like He is with Golden State but I honest to God think He will absolutely explode once He plays for a players Coach in Christie and made to feel both wanted and appreciated.

I really want to see it. Nothing more formidable in the NBA then an extremely talented NBA lottery pick that feels slighted and is dying for an opportunity to prove it.

I think Kuminga will be GREAT with Sacramento and will kick start the rebuild and make the Kings fanbase come alive again.
