  1. I've said all along that Ja can't continue to play like he played in his first few years. The human body cannot withstand that kind of punishment over a long period of time. He seems to have realized that, but he must understand that he will need to make changes in how he approaches the game. He certainly has the ability to be the play maker that the team needs, but it has to be something that he wants to do. We shouldn't just assume that he knows how to do that. He's played a certain way his entire life and will have to make some adjustments. Hopefully, he is learning, by watching the younger guys, just what he needs to do.

  2. Guys, I'm just gonna say it, let's trade for Dillon Brooks. This man has been balling since leaving the Grizzlies. Honestly, I don't blame us for getting rid of him, but it would be a huge help if he were still on this team.

  3. This is a followup to my comment yesterday. I didn't mean that they would be a favorite to win this season but that if the details are focused on, they could elevate to the level of competing for a ring, with the current team and the necessary imporvements of Trip, youngsters maturing, Edey staying healthy, Ja being Ja, and the replacement of the coach or the relaxation of his militant rotation idea utilizing adjustments as the game needs. Also, when I spoke of the local media, I was speaking of a website (Beale Street Bears……..I don't know if you can menttion them on your set) dedicated to Grizz coverage. Many of the write alwasy bringing up these ludicrous trade packages. Anyway, keep doing what you doing bruh and MEMPHIS MEMPHIS MEMPHIS. P.S. You ever thought about expanding your platform to cover other Memphis sports, like the Tigers. We got a new football coach and he seems like he cover take us to the next level from his track record and his energy. just a thought.

  4. Another great show thanks for all you do to make it happen for us. We can only hope for the best for our players and team as a whole. Let’s get another win tomorrow night.

  5. To me, the next evolution of Ja’s game is being a floor general, a facilitator, a true pg.

I think that’s his highest level. I can see him at his highest level being a Steve Nash like player.

  6. As much as Jock has played well, in normal circumstances he's a third option at best. If BC is not available or not playing well before the trade deadline and the team is ambitious to keep winning, they need to trade for a center more than just about anything else imo.

  7. All of that being said (thanks for mentioning Iisalo’s record against teams above 500 which is currently 2-23)!
Even with the pending return of Ja, as well as the return of confirmed rotational Grizz players, i.e. SPJr, TJ, and BC…they’re learning curve to learn this system and incorporate how it allows them to perform at their best individually (when needed) and as a team is going to be a massive undertaking during the 2nd half of the season.
I was excited AF when the season started at the possibilities and then the injuries coupled to Iisalo’s mad hatter coaching style that’s devoid of ANY player finding and maintaining a rhythm EFFED all that up for me!
I’ll still be in my seat EVERY home game, but I’m going to curb my enthusiasm until I witness our Grizzlies string together home and away wins against WINNING teams! Then I’ll know it’s time for me to get excited about the possibilities of our Memphis Grizzlies…
