  1. Gm Scott Perry should move:

    Sabonis, DeRozan, and Schroeder.

Get the best deals he can.

Try to bring back young nba vets with size and skill.

Some 2nd rd picks would be great as well.

Target either a young center(Robert Williams III, Nic Claxton, Daniel Gafford, or one of The Suns veteran centers) or an older star center whose value is down(AD or Embiid)

Experiment with Raynaud at the 4 and Murray at the 3.

With Schroeder gone give Clifford the backup point guard role and towards the end of the season about 25-30 starts with Russ off the bench.

Keep Monk as the 6th man

Keep Aichuwa as the backup 4/5 swing man.

I don't see any of the current young Kings as a franchise level player so either via one of the above trades, free agency, or the draft, try to identify a franchise level player that the team can possibly build around.

Lavine has to stick around because of that player option.

No one will touch his contract until next season when it will be extremely valuable at the trade deadline.

Try to feature him in the offense more. The more production he has, the higher his value will be at next season's trade deadline.

Is Coach Christie the right head coach for the rebuild?

If not, let him go at the end of the season.

  2. The sad truth is that the rest of the NBA does not covet what the Kings can offer in trades, except for draft capital.
