This Adjustment Might Take Detroit to the NEXT TIER 👀 Pistons Beat Bucks
The Detroit Pistons pick up their 19th win of the season, taking down Giannis and the Milwaukee Bucks 124–112 — but the REAL story is the new-look rotation.
In today’s breakdown, we dive into:
• Isaiah Stewart starting at the four — why this fits so well
• Jalen Duren’s huge second half and how he flipped the momentum
• Javonte Green + Paul Reed’s game-changing bench energy
• Jaden Ivey’s best stretch since returning from injury
• Why this rotation might be the blueprint moving forward
This might be the lineup that unlocks Detroit’s next level.
Let’s talk about it.

Let’s go saw the game in person Ausar and stew d were insane. In general their defense won that game hype
This rotation looked different tonight.
Stew at the four, Duren dominating late, Ivey heating up — AND the bench showing out.
Do you think this is the lineup Detroit should stick with going forward?

No, brother…I get it.
Stew needs to start at the 4. The team plays much better at both ends. His defense is game changing. Rim protection is god tier and he has the ability to switch onto perimeter players when needed. And he’s evolved vastly as an offensive player. His FG% at the rim has gone up from 67% to 73% (probably even higher after tonight) and he’s a more than capable 3P shooter now. Not to mention he’s an excellent screener which goes a long way in freeing up Cade for his driving lanes and getting Duncan open for 3s.
I love Tobias but he’s limited as a defender and if he isn’t hitting his shots, especially his 3s, he’s a net negative. He is not a good screener which is why the offense often looks so stagnate and jumbled in the halfcourt when he’s out there. The Pistons don’t have the 3P shooting or shot creators outside of Cade so off ball and on ball screening and player movement is a big part of their offensive strategy. Tobias is more of an isolation post scorer, it can be nice luxury in spurts because he’s pretty reliable to get a bucket down there but Stew’s overall impact far supersedes anything Tobias can give us at this stage of his career.
We gotta start Stew and move Unc to the bench.
Deeetroit basketball 🏀
Good take again, Jack! I had the same feeling – the rotation seemed to work better for the team this game. And you got it right, Cade sometimes becomes passive on offense, especially of late. And it's good to see JI still contributing despite the limited minutes. On to the next! Laban, Pistons!
Stewart is a great starter. But I'm hesitant to increase his minutes. We need him to be healthy for the playoffs.
Orlando when healthy and firing on all cylinders are unfortunately for you guys here to stay
Wouldn't mind Jenkins getting some run I don't think he's had a real chance to be the main guy in a line since ever one was hurt but I get it tho because we are trying to ramp up Ivey idk I think Jenkins could be a good 6ix man
There’s a pic of jack at MSG with a knix jersey in 2022. He’s as fake of a fan as they came, lied about his entrance into the game’s passion, fakes every clip, uses us as a money making motive. Can’t tell at all if he’s a real piston fans but stop sucking up to this random ass aussie who won’t address fake fan allegations and instead blocks them on the spot.
Better game from Pistons. Still too many unforced TOs, but played well overall. Wanna see this against a good team cuz it seems like they play a worse and undermanned team every time. Ausar was very good if he can more consistently provide playmaking then maybe the team can be less reliant on Cade and Cade can spend some energy guarding on ball where he has been pretty bad, feels elite as a helper though sometimes.
10 man rotation feels more natural and I haven't been that content with Tobias's minutes. I still feel Ausar is the key in any lineup.
Bucks are a weak team.
It’ll take a close win over a team like the Trailblazers than a convincing victory over a Bucks like time every day
I think the rotation will be fluid depending on the opponent. Great total team win last night 💪
Ultimately I agree with Bryce Simon. We should just designate the 10 man rotation each night and the two guys who don't play do so to keep us fresh. Tobi sat tonight due to being old and they didn't play Daniss so Bball Paul and Green could play. The next night we might rest Stew because of that nasty fall on his knee and give someone else a rest. It's the only way to give everyone the time they deserve while also keeping us fresh for the playoffs.
Tobias has been playing well but the team plays much better without him. Bc it lets awesome defenders Reid and javonta play. Both were really helpful and obviously it gives stew a bigger role
Ivey is starting to come on his ceiling is way up there reat of league put on notice!
Ivey makes two 3 point shots and fans think he’s Joe Dumars smh. Not having Daniss JenkinsCade on the floor at all times when it’s Ivey or Caris are on the floor is a mistake. The 2nd quarter with Caris and Ivey was bad!
They play next Friday
Hawks can make the best offer. Heat provides a somewhat big market and a stretch center. Magic trade Banch and get a better version.
Heat and Magic don't have an income tax
You looking real Jacked baby ‼️ 💪😂
Let's go Pistons!! Wooo!!
