Milan got back to winning ways by defeating Panathinaikos 96-89 on Thursday night at Unipol Forum. A 0-14 run allowed the visitors to grab a 21-26 lead after 10 minutes. But Milan responded with a 15-2 surge in the second quarter, when Armoni Brooks caught fire from deep to establish a 54-44 advantage at halftime.
The hosts held Panathinaikos to just 15 points in the third quarter and managed to maintain their lead despite being outscored 16-30 in the fourth. Milan improved its record to 8-7, with the Greens dropping to 9-6 after suffering their second straight loss.
Brooks led all scorers with a career-high 26 points, having gone 8 for 14 from beyond the arc. Zach LeDay netted 15 points, with Shavon Shields and Josh Nebo scoring 13 and 10, respectively. Kostas Sloukas paced Panathinaikos with 19 points and Kendrick Nunn bagged 17 in a losing effort.
