  1. Lots of discussion on rotations. Thnx for that. I truly believe Pistons can win it all this season – but they have to choose the right rotation to enter the playoffs with. That is ten guys who play every game, a couple that play on occasion, and three more to round out the playoff roster.

Including our 3 2-way players, Tolu Smith, Moore Jr, and Jenkins, we have 18 capable players, so 3 will be left out – even if they might help win games.

The easiest to leave out is Smith, since he is 4th in our center depth chart. Next, probably Isaac Jones, as he is behind several players at the pf spot – though he is actually a true sized pf. Next? It gets tough here, but if Levert and Ivey are who you choose for backup point duties, then we can only carry one of Sasser / Jenkins as the "third string" point. Sasser is the rostered player, so has the advantage.

Sasser has another advantage – looking at the data from last season, if he plays with 2 of Reed, Holland, Thompson, our defensive rotation becomes so solid the other team can barely score.

Same advantage for Moore Jr. you want near perfection on defense? Play a unit of Sasser, Moore Jr, Holland, Thompson, Reed.

So, here is my rotation suggestion, and I certainly hope our coach leaves no stone unturned in putting the right rotation together; regardless of injuries. No one needs to get injured, to give players shots at getting into the rotation.

Start: Cade, Ivey, Thompson, Reed, Duren.

bench: Sasser, Lanier, Holland, Stew, Reed / Duren splitting backup center duties. (nine man rotation)

four guys that play on occasion: Duncan, Levert, Green, Moore Jr. (2 each for offense / defense)

Last 2 on the playoff roster: Harris, Isaac Jones

Left off playoff roster: Klintman, Tolu Smith, Jenkins.

  2. Stew just brings a different type of energy starting at the 4, not a slight on Tobias but I want stew starting the rest of the year. Glad to see the fellas bounce back against the bucks zone with more composure and smarter ball movement. Side note coach JB got hit in the nuticals by kpj during the game, the child in me chuckled 😂

  3. Stew has the angriest blocks in the league. The whole team getting involved was crazy. Cade gonna pur up 50 soon once he gets in the zone. Soon.

  4. Did yall not see how DISORGANIZED we were in the 2nd quarter without Daniss? Ivey and Levert wete bad and turning the ball over. If you want Ivey to get the minutes then Levert needed to be sat.

  5. Great game plan by jb. The zone shouldn't phase a nba team. Ausar shutdown Rollins. Great game.

  6. Ivey Report
Can’t wait to see those spectacular dunks we’re accustomed to seeing. Ivey’s acrobatic mid-air assault was truly an amazing show, I hope the leg injury didn’t negatively impact those traits.

  7. I fell asleep so I missed the stream cause I'm a withery old man past my prime lmao, I appreciate the birthday wish! definitely sleeping easy after these two wins though!! especially this one. I want to see STEW in that starting lineup ASAP, I've seen enough. Tobias can be our Clifford robinson off the bench!

  8. Alright man yall got me all in on the Stew starting lineup just hope he can stay healthy, which I’m confident in after that block on KPJ lol 😂

  9. This may be me thinking out the box but i feel the pistons are slow playing daniss knowing if he continues to play at a high level hes warranted more money when his two way contract is up..so they play him just enough

  10. Great win!
But man Cades 3s ☠️. He keeps shooting them flat- someone tell Ashton lol he needs some arc to his shots.

  11. Blaha mentioned the time looking like a championship team. I think us old heads see this team can win rings in time.
