The Eastern Conference is a CONFUSING MESS

The NBA’s Eastern Conference is a mess this season with the Detroit Pistons at the helm, the New York Knicks being good but somewhat unconvincing at times, the Boston Celtics being shockingly good, the Cleveland Cavaliers being shockingly bad, and teams like the Orlando Magic, Atlanta Hawks, Toronto Raptors, Miami Heat, and Philadelphia 76ers all in the mix in the middle. This on top of the Milwaukee Bucks readying to trade Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Indiana Pacers being a disaster without Tyrese Haliburton has the East in one of the most interesting spots it’s ever been in and completely up for grabs.

  1. Heat need to figure out the Powell and Herro dynamic but they’ve barely played together. They need more size too.

  2. I share your confusion in trying to predict the east this year. I think the Knicks will be a 3 seed or better this year, but 8 other teams could be too. Crazy season.

  3. NBA needs some rules about facial hair on these players…they are sweaty and disgusting looking

  4. I don’t think Trae will ruin everything when he comes back. The hawks projected started 5 had only played 2 games together and also everyone was shooting horribly in those first few games that Trae played. Johnson was literally shooting 0% from 3 and now he’s up to like 38% or something.

  5. If the celtics learn how not to blow a lead thats a threat.. Lets see how they face the best in the west okc den and hou.. They passed the east already det tor ny and cle

  6. As heat fan I like it but honestly I think is going to be Knicks vs OKC in finals unless theirs a major shift okc will win another championship

  7. Boston being the 3rd seed in the east says alot about the two ring Knicks who are ALL IN and the Celtics just unloaded our roster an we neck and neck 😂🍀🍀🍀☘️

  8. As a Hawks fan, I genuinely do not understand the hate on Risacher. Dude has been phenomenal for the Hawks up until his injury this season. Hard to fault him for that.

  9. I think Knicks can be the number 1 seed once they finally get firing on all cylinders with the new system and figure out their player rotation. They have played with some pretty wonky comps earlier in the season especially with OG out but after that Magic win shows they are learning from their mistakes. Offensively the Knicks are deadly but I think they need to make a trade for one high level elite defender and they could make it to the finals. I'm just not 100 if they could take OKC though

  10. It's only confusing if you give a crap. The east is just bad. That's explains everything. My Celtics ain't surprising me 😎

  11. You’re a fool if you think Lauri fits the pistons he doesn’t, and Ivey stats are based on minutes restriction of 15 minute he’s scored 10 plus in almost every game since being back

  12. It’s funny because the NFL and the NBA are pretty much the same right now with standings you win one game or you lose one game and you can fall like crazy

  13. The Raptors Need RJ Barrett Back And The Heat Haven’t Had Tyler Hero, Both Teams Are Legit…
Pistons, Celtics, And Knicks Are The Only Other Contenders in The East, Everyone Else Are Frauds….

  14. The East was about as expected. The Pistons have been on a rise since they overcame their 28 losing streak. The Knicks remained the most stable after last season, with a better coach now.

  15. Pistons’ experience is such a weak argument.

Yeah they lost last year to the Knicks, but they could’ve won that series if it wasn’t for a missed call. But now, they know how to close games. They lead the league in most wins by single digits. That means almost every win they got was clutch. If they’re winning those gritty games why would experience be a weakness for that team.

  16. Yall overrating Detroit. They gotta win a series first before you can call them contenders lol. Knicks got em beat until proven otherwise. I don’t care about records when it’s December

  17. I honestly think JB is gonna make 1st team all NBA and lead the Celtics to the finals, especially if Tatum comes back

  18. The pistons community is looking at Trey Murphy and MPJ. Not looking to unload all assets, but improve at the wing/4 position with shooting and more scoring

  19. I don’t understand the skepticism on the Knicks. Top 10 defence in the league and top 5 offence, also every playoff series the issue has been on the offensive side, somehow in the playoffs we don’t really struggle to shut teams down
