the Blazers 4th quarter flopping shenanigans looked unusually silly … because they were losing by 20 to the worst team in the NBA.
Hey, this is all we know as Blazers fan. Get a little of hope and expectations for a season, play 20 games, get decimated by injuries, ride the wave to another tank. Have the 5th best odds and get pick 14. It’s a great day to be a blazer.
It's beyond just injuries they need an NBA coach badly.
With the way playing, I thought they don't need a center anyway. When you have Clingan, you don't use him in the 4th anyway.
Turns out small ball without shooting is gimmick at best. Poor game plan and coaching
This smelt like a loss from the tip. Too funky of a trip where you go home for a few then go back out on the road. One question I have so far in the season is why are they taking so many threes? They are not close to shooting the league average and it is the easiest way to get runouts on misses. It has really killed the team too many times. Go Blazers.
I don't understand how we get so killed by injuries every season. I get we have a few very injury prone players but this feels far beyond what is normal. Jrue, Scoot, Blake, Tisse, Rob, Clingan, Yang, and obviously Dame. This is nearly our entire first and second unit out significant time with injuries. I hate having to embrace a tank year after year and end up staying mediorce.
I don't fully know the solution so Mike, I'd be curious your thoughts

portland is a bad team that is just the reality they will not make the playin – they shouldnt let jabary walker and delano go now they stuck with mary who cant make a bucket – at list they earned Sidy Cissoko who looks like a player

Play at least B+ defense, and set solid screens in offense, that's all.

This is the point where you have to decide whether you're going for a tanking season, which is a surefire way to finish at the bottom of the league, or if it's time for a change and you need to make trades and sign players who can contribute immediately.

There were times in that game when there was only 1 legit NBA player on the floor for the Blazers. At this point I'm shocked if they win. Jrue/Scoot/Rob/Clingan/Tiss/Blake/Dame. That's 7 rotation players out (8 if you include Yang…but I wouldn't). When are some fingers gonna start being pointed at the training staff? At what point do we address the fact that having a fat lady as the head athletic trainer for a men's professional basketball team might not be the move. I understand that in PDX being "woke" is a priority but lets get serious. You can hate me all you want for that statement but I don't give a shit.

Bryce McGowens is a great scorer/ shooter and a plyer I wish the Blazers had shown more interest in last year. When I suggest this to many online Blazers "experts" they all laughed.

What a poor effort period. We know the Bkazers are not a great offensive team but the one thing we could always count on was defensive effort. OK we are decimated with injuries but the players on the floor heads were not in the game. French connect was fine but not much else. Wasn't Chris Murray drafted as a shooter? Not to single just him out but how many airball 3's did he shoot? He's a terrible shooter from what I've seen.
