It is insane to me that real human people think that if the Mavericks are healthy they are championship contenders. You dont actually watch basketball if you think that.
In reality I get what the George but he did just come off an MVP caliber season but it was still a lot to give up
I think as a fan Pen as the right energy in terms of fully embracing the hype and the idea of how commited to the game and the mentality of a winner. He lives the emotions. I just just think when put in the context of a discussion it can be difficult to deal with. Like 70 wins as an underachievement and without Shai we still taking 60 wins is the kind of hyperbole thunder fans should have in their head with that start. But when trying to be practical anyone can recognize that 70 wins is a great record. And beliecing taking the best player of a team still gives them 60 win is too much. So I agree with the idea behind Pen arguments I just think he goes overboard when trying to illustrate them (which is fine from a pure emotional fan perspective).
