  1. If you can’t trade Simons because he’s too expensive, you’ll have to ride him to the end of the season. Can’t give him away. Should be getting Williams into the rotation. Wasting time is not a good strategy.

  2. Trade Simon… he's a great player. I wish you guys stop putting the young man down. He's better player then half the players on the team. Go Celtics.

  3. Ths mavs dont have 3 2nd round picks. They only have 2. 1 of those 2nds is coming from boston. So its 1 1st, 1 2nd and simons for highsmith + gaff.

Theres no need to get highsmith in this deal. Maybe that helps save the 1st round pick or at least removes the 2nd round pick. Removing highsmith also gets the celtics below the tax line.

  4. Clearly Simmons was a pricey acquisition, and worthy of a trade at the end of the season but the reality is there have been a lot of Celtics win where Simmons point contribution was a serious factor in a win. So if you trad3 him and the newbie isn’t putting up 12- to 18 points per game we not going to see Celtics winning more. Honestly I’d rather see Sam hauser go for a big center
