The Giannis rumors continue but now it appears none of the obvious teams for the Greek Freak are all that excited to get him. This is a look at why so many franchises aren’t going all-in for the 2-time MVP and what it means for his future.

  1. #3 is the most important by far imo. We are seeing a huge mentality shift among front offices. In the past 7 years or so we've seen so many teams go all in on big names and have it blow up in their face, leaving them with no present and no future. Simultaneously, the only teams to win championships (or even MAKE it to the finals at all) in the past 5 years have been totally or mostly home grown teams. And the Thunder's crazy success has just been the exclamation point on an idea that every front office has now adopted – don't use superstars to shortcut your way to a chip, take your time and fully commit to your rebuild. It's so interesting to see this shift in real time

  2. The Heat will gladly trade for Giannis and give up the super talented Kelel Ware. Ware has been a better rebounder this season than Giannis. Kelel is a ton better jump shooter than the Greek Freak. Kelel's ceiling is as high as Giannis because Ware shot 42% threes at IU and the same this season at Miami. Myles and Kelel would be dynamite. But Ware has almost twice the rebounds per minute of Myles. Ware 53.8% overall, 42% threes, 82% line; all better than Myles, even Durant. Ware plays only 24.1 minutes. Doc Rivers would find a way to play Ware 32 minutes. If so Ware can average 18 a game, 12 rbs and 2 bks.

  3. Ware, Wiggs and Tyler for Giannis and another player. Bucks get 1 or 2 first round picks and the Bucks have the next superstar in league; Kelel Ware. While still starting Ware had a trio of games; 20pts, 14rbs; 20pts, 16, rbs; 20pts, 18 rbs. Since then Ware in Dallas put these numbers up; 22 pts, 10rbs while shooting 8 of 11 from field, 4 of 5 threes and 2 of 2 freebies. Last year in New York, Ware blocked 6 shots in less than 20 min. Trade for Ware he has tons more potential than Wiggins or Herro………even Giannis

  4. This season Ware demanded 20 rbs against the twin towers of the Cavs; Allen and Mobley. But Coach spo loves to hate on Ware, his favorite punching bag (scapegoat). Losing is never spo's fault so he blames Ware even when he only takes 1 to 5 shots in a game. Get Ware, now you won't be sorry. Doc can turn KW into a superstar in less than a year.

  5. Why does Giannis' brothers have to all be on the same team with him? It's almost like another way to get around the salary cap. Can't give Kawhi what he wants? Give him a fake sponsorship deal. Can't give Giannis what he wants? Sign a brother or 2 of his that will rarely play anyway and the money is all in the family.

  6. Teams are hesitant to trade away their future for a 30 year old superstar who might get injured.

  7. Would you fellas fw the idea to boycott nba channels that promote gambling ? There's plnety of awesome nba channels that dont promote the very same thing that is destroying the nba

  8. Trading away Segun for a post prime, aging superstar, with your second best player being an almost 40yo Achile survivor is a terrible gamble

  9. Gambling is even worse than Alcohol or Tobacco.
In those addictions you lose both money and your health and one day you realise the only solution is to stop.
Gambling makes you hope you could get better if you gamble again and "win just once".
Of course not everyone gets addicted but no one is safe and when you're hooked, you're in hell

  10. Meh i loss interest on giannis trade coz he always do that every year lol. Plus His a pussy we wont go out his comfort zone

  11. Austin Reaves and Rui for Giannis and since that’s probably not enough money, toss in Kleber and his 10 million.

Milwaukee with Austin at point guard and Rui as a forward is a better team than they are now and the Lakers getting a defensive 2 guard plus Giannis at power forward are definitely a better team than they are now .

  12. They're not trading any of the starting 8 for yanis Houston has a culture of keeping guys that ride hard for them

  13. I mean realistically, if the Bucks move, they’ll give him to the Knicks unless another team makes a big enough offer to be worth it. Of those teams who would likely be willing to, the Spurs would have to give Harper or Castle, Bryant, and picks, the Hawks would have to give up both that pick and Jalen Johnson and it’s Johnson that Atlanta 100% says no to, that pretty much just leaves Portland. The Blazers have expiring contracts, young guys like Scoot or Shaedon, but most importantly they have multiple of the Bucks’ picks. Miami or Golden State could make offers but neither would be too much better than just sending Giannis to the Knicks. Houston could try but it’s not like they’ll give up Amen or Sengun and otherwise, they’re sacking all of their depth.

  14. After he saw Luka become LA LUKAers… he said thet he want to see nba Europen Super Star play in BIG MARKET TEAM
So is There any big market team that Dare enough & have good enough package for this guy trade ???
    Just stay in EASYern confrence

  15. One of the other reasons I think nobody is jumping is because what do you give? And who gives it? I just don’t see anything close to a trade that might shake up as somewhat even. Somebody will have to get fleeced which isn’t impossible but I just don’t see it.

  16. Watching people overreact to december basketball is always fascinating to me. During regular season there is only so much scouting and gameplanning you can do for an opponent, in the playoffs its going to be different basketball just like it is every year. Giannis is the type of player that you can't exactly scheme out of the game and I think teams like the Spurs may regret not adding him if their intent is to win now in the near future. Teams who have young players gaining trade value have hard decisions to make sometimes

  17. "Alpy?" Lame. You must be a rockets fan, he's more like the character Hans Klopec from "The Burbs," (Dante, 1989), than an "Alpy."

  18. Promoting gambling for one’s own interests while probably destroying other people’s life’s should probably get you expelled from society to the death camps disliked for the ppl

  19. OKC reset the playbook. Go young, not top heavy with character issues. You have to start at younger than OKC itself.

  20. Giannis changes a whole franchise. He’s been used to the bucks giving him what he wants. He’s had multiple coaches fired. I think these other franchises that have been building their core young guys don’t want to make that kind of commitment

  21. He just cost to much for a guy that is all ways headed to the bench. To Much and would not dump top picks on top of that. No way.

  22. I like how you guys stand on your principles against gambling even if a great channel like this one is announcing it.

    Keep doing it

  23. Teams like nuggets, rockets or even lakers are one superstar short of competing against okc with real chances in the playoffs. Any other team doesn't stand a chance even with Giannis so if someone must pull the trigger now it should be one of those three.
