I honestly don't expect ANYTHING less from this team than the ECF, and take it from there… expectations have changed because the team has changed beyond our expectations!.. this has been a fun season so far and as long as they can stay healthy a lot like the Lions, they're a low-key cheat code that no one really knows about… We as Detroit fans, a lot like we tried warning people about the Lions a few seasons before they became good we TRIED and TRIED telling people how good the team was.. but idk why people think we're lying about our teams…. Like why would we lie about that??… But then when they finally wake up and realize it and we collect our receipts then we're framed as "cocky"??! … Then haters wanna goal post move..🙄.. people usually do this when the team keeps shutting them up exceeding even THEIR expectations.. And it's because the haters don't watch Detroit sports enough and don't know the players enough to gage this team.. so they're constantly getting surprised by what they see.. but they understand what it means to play for DETROIT when everything is aligned up.. when culture is in place .. some team's fan bases still don't have culture.. it's difficult for outsiders to understand why players can come to Detroit and THRIVE and they by in.. no matter the team.. well it's because of the HATE we receive!!…. I mean seriously.. I've never seen a city sports team thrive on being "hated on" more and exceed EFFICIENTLY like the city of Detroit..
.. it's CRAAAAZAAAYYY how it works like that for Detroit imo.. you won't fully get it if you aren't from Detroit.. it's a city that only recruits DAWGZ.. it's to the point now if Detroit has interest in ya as a player no matter the team, it's shows HIGH level of respect!.. it's like a prestige college or something.. I'd be stoked just to know if Detroit was interested in ANY of my players if I was a fan of another team cuz I know I have DAWG on my team, and honestly I'd wanna keep him even more cuz I know if he goes to Detroit and play them Detroit Boyz in that culture he'll THRIVE!.. so "HELL NAW YOU AIN'T GETTIN' OUR PLAYER!!"🤣 if I'm another fanbase I'm thinking.. unless you givin' up somethin' good!.. 😅 But HEY, that's where Detroit sports teams are now, whether ya wanna admit it or not.. it's reality.. don't fool y'all selves now..
