Ngl. I think that Ty Jerome leaving is a big part to. He was so good off the bench last year for them. He would’ve have really helped rn since garland is struggling.
I think the offense is just not being run as well. I think this is a situation of the system not being as good. I think a turnaround is theoretically possible but I doubt they'll outright win the east. Besides they were fraudulent last year. Blaming things on injury trouble ignores that if you're team is injury prone that in it of itself should be cause for concern and is a problem. Not just an excuse.
My Cavs have done absolutely nothing but make me depressed this season. The lack of effort on the defensive end of the floor is beyond disheartening. They quite literally do not care 🙁
Two years ago, both garland and Mobley were hurt and Mitchell carried the Cavs on a 19-2 run. Mitchell. Been carrying every year he’s been in the nba and he doesn’t get the credit he deserves. Mitchell is better than guys like Tatum imo. He should be seen as a top 7 player honestly
Our pgs are just angering cause garland has handles but has been an inefficient scorer (he should be shooting less threes and getting more layups) and lonzo who is great at forcing turnovers and is good on d generally shoots actually horrific 3p% and keeps shooting them
Cavs been frauds. Mitchell never been past round 2. Mobley has no offensive bag. Garland and Allen are borderline unplayable in the playoffs. Team is going nowhere
I think after seeing Pacers reach the final as a 6 seed, I wouldn't be surprised if they're trying to do something similar like getting hot towards the end of the season. They were the 1 seed but they couldn't get fully healthy by the 2nd round last season.
