UNDER THE LIGHTS: Orlando Magic struggle to MEET THE MOMENT in NBA Cup loss to the New York Knicks

The Orlando Magic came to Las Vegas to play under the dazzling lights and try to secure their first league-wide team trophy. But the Magic failed to live up to the billing and step up to the plate as Jalen Brunson and the Knicks pushed into the lead and the Magic could never recover.

Paolo Banchero is still working his way back into the rotation after his injury knocked him out for three weeks. His absence and his struggles to be aggressive were a key factor that helped the Knicks stay ahead.

As was an injury to Jalen Suggs as Suggs finally seemed to succumb to his long list of injuries that have slowed him down in the last few weeks. After scoring 25 points in the first half, Suggs looked uncomfortable and unable to give the Magic very much down the stretch.
