MHB actually hit the nail on the head. spo says he's open to playing ware and bam at the expense of offense if defense is good. but at the same time, he never hesitates playing tyler and norm even at the expense of defense, and last night the shooting was bad. as much as i respect spo, his favoritism is a bit annoying. he can hold ware and jovic so accountable. but tyler remains a cone and he plays him regardless. at least show a bit of fairness, at least when boy blunder is costing you the game. if its for giannis, i'm all for trading herro, ware, jovic, jacquez/simone , rozier's expiring, plus 2-3 picks. giannis is worth it. and bam giannis davion norm wiggs plus aj green, portis you can definitely build around and be competitive. NO F-ING WAY FOR JA. i love tyler and all but no way should you keep him past this year and pay him. you just can't do it and that's pretty much why they haven't extended him. we already know what tyler is and what this team is with tyler: A PLAY-IN TEAM. 4 years in a row. you cannot pay the guy especially not the amount he's projected to be at. so he's gotta to be traded soon or else his value dips or worse you lose him for nothing. Herro needs to come off the bench in this type of offense.. unless they start running sets like GSW in 2015 then that’s what needs to happen.. as far as Ware he needs to start it’s simple.. the true starting 5 should be Davion/norm/wiggins/bam/ware

Put Ware on any other team, and he would be the starting center EASY getting 30+ minutes. Every time a big man leaves this team in the last few years, they do better on another team. Spo doesn’t like bigs.

Dude even if you put ware in starting line up we are still undersized in other position. Can’t you see teams are now exploiting Davion, herro and Powell. Even Wiggs at times coz he’s so thin for power forward position. Starting ware isn’t the problem. You saw it last night we were up 15 then the second unit enter and it disappeared. Simone start shooting bricks. Watch the game during 6 game winning streak our 2nd unit was so formidable. And Wiggs leading the charge. Then herro comes back, spo put herro in the 2nd unit with jjj, ware and jovic and it was so terrible. After losing 3 straight, spo change it last night putting Powell in the 2nd unit, but same thing happened. So the issues is our 2nd unit, like I always said if we want to contend we need consistent 2nd unit. Our depth is our strength bcoz we don’t have legit all stars. And right now it’s not happening.

I used to really like herro but darryl is wrong, he’s bad move him to the bench and spread the minutes out ware only played 12 minutes also our “best shooter” can’t go 0-6 from 3
So Coach Darryl’s plan is to pay an injury prone, one way player , $60 Million a year till 2030. I do agree him with on the pace not being sustainable. Running out the clock is where we miss Jimmy. He was excellent at slowing and calming things down by going iso and getting to the line.

With Tyler back , the team has lost a slight defensive edge. Also , unlike Powell, Tyler doesn't get right into his offensive move. He messes around too much before he gets to it, consequently the ball doesn't move as much. It's a better teM without Herro.
Mitchell, Powell, Wiggins, Bam and Ware should be your starting team.

Tyler Herro is a legit 2nd option.Pat probably knew that.Getting a no.1 option mean sacrificing Bam which i think Pat wont. Bam has already peaked and regressed.If you want Herro on your team, you better have teammates thst can neutralized his shortcomings.Herro would be picked offensively without a doubt.Since Pat dont want to extend Herro and trade Bam, i would suggest trading Herro for Trae Young.Trae is an upgrade to Herro and Herro would thrive in an environment where there's a lot of defenders around him.Trae is reliable on crunchtime which Miami needs.
