Better to trade one year early, than two years late.
For the long run, I would keep Matas (not the best season but the kid has a lot of potential), Ayo (probably the only two way player the Bulls have and are really missing now), Noa (I don't think he is too raw of a prospect as people made him, too bad the injury) and one of Coby and Giddey. I don't like them both together as neither can defend really well and the team needs defense.
As for Vuc, no one will trade for him, but his expiring contract may be a good piece for a team that needs to rebuild and needs to reduce their salary sheet, like Dallas or New Orleans.
So many injuries…. WTF! Another shite show.
Before benching Vuc Chicago needs to fix the front office and coach issues.

Pat not wanting to keep Matas tells me that he needs to start covering other NBA teams… Josh and Matas are must keep. I get you hate the Bulls and are right to be pessimistic, but you're overdoing it. You don't have to be a Bulls fan if you don't want to. It's getting annoying.
I also disagree with how fans are viewing Vuc. Yes, we need him gone because we can't afford his defensive mistakes, on this particularly. That said, Billy Donovan and the guards are awful at letting Vuc, their only all star, get the ball in the paint and cause the defense to collapse on doubles. I'm not saying Vuc is Jokic, but he can give you 20 every night. Stacey says the same thing too. Let him get the first 80% of shots in the first quarter, get him going, and you WILL see a defensive effort. You will see great passes. These guys are dribbling and moving around the 3pt line wondering how to get open instead of using his inside-out game to free up the guards. It's terrible coaching and offense. Vuc thrives when he gets the ball in scorable spots and knocks a few from 15FT, instead of chucking up 3PTs
AK, TBH, any one of us could do a better job than he has, he lacks foresight, he doesn't value picks, doesn't get picks in deals when they could be had, he overvalues his own players, he should've jumped all over that deal for the Pelicans '26 unprotected 1st round pick, when bad franchises come calling with that kind of a deal, go take advantage, more times than not, that deal is going to work out in your favor.
I mean it's literally time to just face it, the New Orleans pelicans are a better team than the Chicago Bulls!! They have a better roster!!! It is what it is!! Anybody that thinks that this roster has talent and they can win a lot of games or even win as many games as they won last year is not seeing clearly!!
Most rookies that come in on bad teams come into a terrible culture!! It's not just get a rookie and it fixes the team know but it's a step in the right direction!!! There's not a player in the league you can put on this team that makes it a legitimate team to even win in the first round
It doesn't matter who or how many times Billy Donovan benches anybody on this team all that comes in is another garbage player!!!
Vuc is a frustrating player to watch. All i want him to do is LOOK like he gives two shits about playing any resemblance of defense. Pitiful.
Vuc sees all these other people not giving up or getting blown by!! Our defenders just get blown by off the triple constantly like they're not even there like their cones

this started a couple yrs ago when everyone was saying there was unfinished business to be done
