This has happened before. In the last 2 minutes the whole "momentum into the backcourt" based on when they "establish control" comes into play. With one foot while catching the ball, the momentum thing takes over which I think is dumb. I think that could easily be called a violation here.

Also, it probably looks like VJ knocks the ball out his hand after he had 2 hands on it. The way he let the ball go, from the opposite angle I can see how the ref could make that mistake. You have to really slow it down to see that he never hit the ball.
