I’ve agreed with all the rotation decisions til vandy. When you have creators like Bron Luka HBK on the same team, you can afford to have defense first players like him. There are certain elements you just can’t teach in defense.
Here to comment again that JJ needs to stagger Vando Smart LaRavia and Thiero into these lineups, the difference in defensive energy always shows.
Also LOL at Smart, he always does one of those wannabe heroic plays

I think LBJ should practice some free throws and Markus Dumb needs to practice and not play. This one was nearly lost because of these two and JJ making terrible decisions towards the end, including taking Vando out (who clearly saved our ass today).

There's no way a team with LeBron, Doncic, and Austin Reaves would struggle so much. They need a solid, dynamic center up front and more play. They need more quality from the bench.

We got lucky. And we got away from brooks getting a 4 point play. Marcus smart needs to actually make better iq decisions. You have the lead and you try to score instantly instead of trying to set up a play.
Vando played great tonight but the lakers need to stop allowing these comeback momentum events to happen again.

Also, inserting defensive minded players like Marcus Smart into the starting line up is a good idea as well. We know by his record that Luka likes to score big in the 1st quarter. So why not put the defense around him that he needs during these times?!
