Duren had a really quiet night. I think that Boston game-planned entirely around stopping him from getting the ball in the paint by playing that zone, bc he torched them earlier in the year. The dangerous thing about the Pistons now is that when a team leans too heavily into stopping one thing, they are able to adjust & beat you another way. That is what good teams do.
Javonte got a technical immediately after that nasty dunk bc he was so pissed about not getting a foul called that he screamed at the top of his lungs right in front of the refs face as he ran by him. It was totally worth it bc it got the boys fired up.

That was Austin Rivers that was singing Smooth Operator after Cade made that shot, it's starting to catch on on a national scale. They will play one more time in the regular season at Little Caesars Arena on MLK Day on NBC and I may even go to that game. I'm glad they won and got their Revenge from a few weeks ago, the Pistons are the best team in the city right now. Detroit basketball.
