If the leaders can’t rally the troops and show some fight, the rest of the team won’t follow, and Bam and Herro just aren’t providing that. When they’re down, it kills the morale of everyone around them. That’s why I say A’ja Wilson’s will to win is on a completely different level than Bam’s on any given day, minus her championships. It’s frustrating because he doesn’t match that kind of energy or urgency. At this point, if they want to be in any real championship conversation, a major trade needs to happen.

That was so frustrating to watch. Spo’s line ups aren’t working. Games like these he need to play Ware more. Fonteccio has been off for the past few games but yet he gives him game time. Give that game time to Ware.

Spo has got to incorporate what went well last year and mix it into this new offense. They need some screens, DHO, & pindowns involved to get quality shots because they keep chucking bad 3s over the defense. Think the same way how the GSW get open 3s for Curry. Also let Tyler playmake more. This new offense has taken the ball out of your best players hands and let Davion and Jaime run the offense. Tyler is more of a threat when he has the ball and can either run plays on-ball or off-ball. This also allows him to get up more 3s cause he should be putting up at least 10 3PA.
Spo has got to stop with the small ball and start Bam/Ware already. Make the hard choice and either bench Davion, Powell, or Wiggins already. Why hasn't Spo played 1 second of the projected starting lineup before the season of Herro Powell Wiggins Bam Ware? Defensively the frontcourt covers for the backcourt similar to when Spo played Herro & Duncan in the backcourt back in the day and won many games. Davion can still close if necessary. Letting Herro make decisions with the ball with Bam as the hub is what worked last year. Now mix that with the fast paced offensive style of this year and it should worked. Alot of this resembles what the GSW and Pacers of last years offensive system.
Bam with 1 rebound in the 2nd half. They need to move him before that $57 million option kicks in.
Go back to a traditional offense , save this new 1 for the play in when they don't expect it , get a back up big so the 2nd team has a chance on the boards and start Ware ,bam ,Tyler , Davion wigs or powel depending on match up . Let JJJ run the 2nd team with 3 shooters and a big 🤷🏽♂️

I think this team struggles of late will iron themselves out with full health(we always missing someone),it also has to do with the nba bieng like the nfl where any team,even injury depleted ones can beat a fully healthy team on any given night,depending on match ups & weaknesses(ours is rebounding due to lack of height,and outside shooting)that bieng said,on paper which is not saying much,has a deep enough roster to tinker with and make adjustments that will right the ship’s direction imo…a kaspar break out here & a jovic snaps out of a funk there & a fully healthy team,the ball might bounce our way in close games still a long season,we shall see

somehow spo insisting on his 3 guard small ball line up but cant seem to get it to work despite trying over and over again. but simply refuses to put in the time to get ware and bam to work after seeing 3 minutes. go figure. maybe just tooo brilliant to see the obvious. or sooooo biased against rooks he'd rather us lose than depend on one. or too stubborn to veer away from his small ball fetish. or too proud to admit he could be wrong about his rotations that he'd rather blame his players for underperforming in the "moments of truth". you got powell pushing scotty barnes in frustration cause his coach doesn't have enough sense to match the opponents size, and somehow norms at fault. what do they say about trying things over and over again and expecting different results? insanity? or just plain INCOMPETENCE

What is Bam? He's our Captain, He's the Max player and He's not held accountable for anything. Wes, you keep talking about our role players. But we only have One Role Player with a MAX salary. Wes lay the Blame where it belongs and stop making excuses for BAM.
As an organization and Coaching staff this team can't move forward until they can admit that Bam is an Overpaid Role Player.

Unbelievably 7 players got more minutes than did Kelel. Those 7 played a total of 207minutes and took only 29 rebounds. Ware a tick over 19min and 13 rbs. Does spo ever do the math or is every decision about Kelel based on his hatred for the young player. Wiggs and Simone were scored on but they didn't get benched. Why did Simone play 6 more minutes than Kelel, ridiculous absolutely ridiculous??????????????????????? I hate the way spo hates Ware, the very best rebounder per minute in the NBA, play WARE. I DON'T ALLOW MYSELF TO BELEIVE WARE GOES FOR GIANNIS. spo adjust, not lately

We have a Spo problem. After all the talk for or against Herro. Spo has the balls to keep Dru and Mitchell in the game at the same time with Ware on the bench the last 8 minutes While the Raptors have Poetl, Barnes and Ingram all at 7 feet tall on the court. I don’t think Bam grab 1 rebound in the second half. The Herro talk is not about his game it is about the structure of the team. Spo is the person that makes these decisions. Ware, Bam and wiggins give us an height advantage at 5.4.3 this is what generates stops and on offense we can shoot over everybody. But for some reasons Spo doesn’t like Ware. I do not care wether you like Ware or not but I care about 15/12. And if you think benching him is the way well you need to win with your small line up. Yes Herro is not playing but do not full us it is the same rotation. We see exactly what Spo is doing. It is not any different than what the Browns coach is doing.
This team had a nice little run, but I’m sure most Heat fans expected that the team is truly the version of it we are seeing now. A mismatched collection of OK talent with a very low ceiling. This is a 40 win team on paper that front loaded its wins thanks to Norman Powell thinking he’s Brandon Roy and not, well, Norman Powell. Herro’s presence burst that bubble and now there’s no looking back.

The problem over the past 12 years is Riley and Spo. Every year it's the same old story, but different players. So what has stayed the same Riley and Spo. Roster construction and Small Ball. How can you have a rail thin guy trying to mix it up getting rebounds. You can't have a lineup of Mitchell (6 ft), Dru (6ft), and Herro/Powell (6'5/6'3) on the court with a skinny Wiggins at the 4 and 6'9 Bam at center. Spo redshirted Jovic year 1, and tried to turn him into a Kelly O type of Center (which has forever affected his confidence). Things will never change until Spo and Riley move on.
Its the training regimen.
