  1. Maybe that's why he's FORMER head coach. Glad he's not in charge of anything these days.
If Donovan and Rudy wasn't enough to build around, you really think Lauri and Keyonte are going to do it?!?!
Have you seen the West?? Firing on all cylinders we easily still miss out on the Play In. We are throwing away a franchise player for moral victories??? Get these clowns out!

  2. I think Jazz fans overwhelmingly want to keep the pick. We aren’t going to make the play in game if we tried our very best. We aren’t going to be significantly better next year without additional talent. When the front office traded Don and Rudy, that was a decision to tank…but they haven’t really committed and we ended up with mediocre lottery talent. Why do we have cold feet?!? We historically have been unable to do that through free agency. Mainly we have got good players to Utah through the draft. We should be doing everything we can to maximize the quality of talent we get through the draft. Time to jump in. All 10 toes! That may be letting Taylor, IC, Ace, Flip, and even Cody not only actually get minutes…but how about we draw up some plays for them. Not just have them stand in the corner. You picked these players cause you though they had something! HELP THEM SUCCEED! At some point you have to dance with the girl you brought to the dance.

Also, stop this culture and honor nonsense. The OKC thunder tanked for years. I think their culture is just fine. The greatest coach in recent history, Pop, tanked…multiple times. How do you think the spurs ended up with Tim Duncan and Wemby??? They manipulated lineups to increase their odds of getting elite talent. Get off your high horses. Do the right thing for this teams future.

  3. Good lord this man is living in the past. Also he called Keyonte George "Keyonte Jones".

If the front office gives away that pick it will end in disaster. This team isn't anywhere close to being a competitive squad. That's not a coaching issue it's a lack of talent issue, and no matter how good Keyonte becomes, we aren't bringing Giannis to Utah to play beside him.

Do the right thing. Tank and draft an elite player.

  4. excellent sensitive handling of the jazz, and the fan base situation:need to keep the team and fan base morale up. for me no draft pick this year is the road to a sacramento kings future. so loose the pick and do everything to keep up the team and fan base morale up. to do nothing is more of the same. is eating some contracts a possiblity? agreed this is a very very difficult situation for all.
