Doug thought his team could pick up 94 feet. They are 29th in offensive rating. You can say Doug needs the right tools to succeed, but you can also say that Doug has been misusing the tools he’s been given, which is the sign of a bad coach

I will say… I do not feel Christie is a good coach. Sorry 2 say it, but @ this x… he is not a good coach.

naaah… there's no animosity in Sacramento. What ch'all talking about?
When a GM makes a roster that's too small, and the team gets pummeled in the paint… it's the Head Coach's job to publicly humiliate his players.
Then the Vets need to be traded…. We turn over coaches too often. Time for it stay for a while.

Doug is the decoy until this soft rebuild is over with. That’s why he’s being paid only 2 mil a year and his 3rd yr being not guaranteed. This entire coaching staff and the development staff is most likely gone after as well. Scott Perry is gonna hire the winning coaching crew just like how he got Thibs for his Knicks tenure. If he can he should get Taylor Jenkins Grizzles Ex coach.
All parties involved are part of the failure. The team construction is so bad. The DD signing, trading Fox, firing Brown,
accepting Levine in the Fox trade, etc.
Theses moves piled on each other ended up creating a big mess.
Doubt trades for the Kings vets get done. Contracts and fit on other teams is not good.
Roster is not Christie's fault. Don't doubt DC's passion, Sac culture keeper. DC's mistake was having ZERO tolerance for lack of energy/effort when Brown led the team, insisting his team would always play with energy and effort, win or lose, especially at home. G-Man, who should be in HoF, even insisted the Kings would play harder for DC because he loves Sac and has more buy-in as former player. G-Man mentioned how Christie led the team in a circle and looked each player in the eye after Brown left. Players felt seen by Christie. DC understood protecting home court mattered! Garry St. Jean also insisted Christie would be able to get Kings to play with more energy/effort, win or lose, regardless of roster, than Brown.
She doesn’t understand true Sactown fans frustrations, we never get real value on any trade! Stack as many draft picks and expiring contracts as possible! Maybe then they can instill some passion and insensitive!
I think we need like 8 more guards just to round it out!
